Lexi is mad. Mad because her family was torn apart. Her loved ones scattered to the wind. But Lexi is also heartbroken. Heartbroken because she may never get the chance to be with the one she loves.
Aaron is disappointed. Disappointed because his life turned upside down. All the happy things were shaken from him and now the only thing he has left to hold on to is the knowledge that Lexi loves him.
Lexi is begging. Begging for Aaron to stay.
"But things don't always work out." He says. She knows this is true. She just doesn't want to believe.
"I love you." She says.
"I love you too."

3. Three

"Aaron where are we going?" I question. We had been walking for hours. He called me this morning saying that he had something important to show me and it couldn't wait.

"We are almost there." He says

"I’m getting tired we have been walking for awhile." I complain. I must sound like a three year old to him.

"Come here." Aaron says. I walk over to him and he bends down. "Get on" He demands playfully. I laugh and climb onto his back.

He carries me the rest of the way on his back, the perfect spot to kiss his neck.

Aaron stops walking and brings me around to his front so that I am looking straight into his eyes; my legs still wrapped around his waist. He brushes a stray piece of brown hair behind my ear and leans in for a kiss. Our lips fit together perfectly almost as if we were made for each other. I know that sounds cheesy, and it's in almost every romance ever, but it's genuinely how I feel. Aaron, whenever I kiss him my heart beats 100 times faster.

I smile against his lips. "You make me happy" I say when we stop for air.

He laughs, looking at me like a kid on christmas morning. "Were here" Aaron says. He sets me down on the ground and I take a look around.

I'm stood in a big meadow filled with flowers. In every direction I'm surrounded by beautiful shades of blues, purples, and pinks. The sight is breathtaking. I walk in a little further and feel the sunlight streaming down on my face. My eyes close and I take in the smell of the flowers that surround me.

I open my eyes and turn around. "Aaron this is beau..." I stop suddenly. Aaron is on his knees. He takes my hand and looks into my eyes.

"Lexi. I want you forever. Through the good, the bad and the ugly. We'll grow old together forever and always."

"Aaron" I say. My eyes beginning to water.

"Lex. I never want to lose you. I love you so much. Will you marry me?" Aaron pulls a small black box out of his pocket. He opens it revealing a ring with a small diamond in the center.

Tears fall from my eyes; all I can do is nod. Aaron stands up and slips the ring on to my finger. I pull him closer to me and wrap my arms tight around his waist. He puts his arms around me and I bury my head in his chest. He kisses the top of my head and I start to cry happy tears.

"Lex why are you crying?" Aaron asks concerned.

"I'm just so happy and I love you so much." I say and look up into his eyes.

I reach up and touch my lips to his. To me this kiss feels different, better in a way. Maybe now I know that it is me and only me. I am the one that Aaron chose to live with forever. And I swear in this moment right here, right now, I feel like the luckiest girl on the planet.
