Fighting For It

This is just gonna be where I post all of the poems that I write on here. I also put them on my dA (Cenitopius.Deviantart.Com) and my Facebook for those of you who already have it.
This series would probably have been called 'A Little Bit of Poetry' if it weren't for the fat that Fighting For It (101) was so descriptive of the whole series in it's name that I had to use it here as well.

11. (With Love) We Are Young

As I child, I often wondered,

What is love - this mindless blunder?
A cause for storm, rain and wind, Or someone to hold and hear the thunder?

As a teen I often wondered,
To what love feels akin -
Do we lie down by each other Or lie and cheat and sin?
In my mind there was no wonder, Love was love by now, For I'd found it was a feeling, And just wanted it be found.   As adult I do wonder, Is love what I hold in my good hand, And what is good today,
For this we all do hunger, Or is it this here in my bad hand, That I would throw away?   As an elder I'll look back, Though I don't know it just yet; What was I - some mindless blunder? Sat wondering 'bout rain and wind, Comparing all there is in this big world of ours to hearts.
I wish I could just smack Some sense into young me yet, I'd love to love the thunder, I'd love to hear my true love sing, So never again wonder, Love's when you've all the parts.
