57. Bad Luck

It took us almost an hour to get to where we were going. "A club?" I asked Liam.
"Yeah! You said young and dumb so this is all I could think of," Liam shrugged.
        "Liam, I'm still 19, I can't get in,"
"No worries, we're not here to drink anyways," Liam got out of the limo and opened the door to my side. I stepped out of the limo to be greeted by loud music blasting from the club.
"I've never been to one before," I looked up to see colorful  lights everywhere as well.
"C'mon," Liam took my hand and went to the front of the club entrance. He showed the guard his ID and said I was with him. I smiled and tried keeping my head low. Liam lead me into a closed off area. Few people were in there and their was a small bar, couches, TVs, and a DJ at the corner. It was like a VIP area. Liam sat me in a comfy chair and told me he'll be right back. I looked around to see people I didn't know but a few stood out to me. One in particular. I couldn't put a finger on it though. Liam was nowhere to be seen so I sat patiently, bobbing my head to 'We R Who We R'. A guy my age sat oddly close to me. He's the dude I thought I knew. I tried getting a closer look without being weird and noticeable. He looked at me and I looked away quickly. I took a glance at his face again to see a smirk on it. Now I remembered. It was Anthony, the one who raped me! I gasped and made an attempt to run. He took hold of my wrist and slammed me back down onto the chair. I shifted since I landed on my side and rubbed the space where I'm probably getting a bruise.
"Don't touch me, sicko," I pulled my arm away from him just to have Anthony pull me onto his lap. I tried getting out of his grasp but it was no use. I opened my mouth to get help but Anthony's hand flew over it. I can't believe nobody was seeing what was happening! Where was Liam?!" Anthony finally pulled his hand away from my mouth.
"If you scream or say anything, you're gonna regret it. You know what I'm capable of," He set me on the chair I was sitting on before and motioned for the bartender. He ordered a beer and a 'punch' for me, even though I knew it wasn't actually punch. When the drink was set in front of me, I took a tiny sip. It was definitely not punch. I spit it out instantly, being disgusted by the taste of alcohol. "Now why would you do that? This drink was expensive and I got it just for you!" Anthony took the glass of red colored drink and gulped it down. "What a waste of money,"
"You could've just ordered the punch I asked for," I sneered, wiping my mouth on a napkin. Anthony slapped me across the face. I grabbed my cheek, shocked. "What the fuck was that for?!" I yelled. Still, nobody noticed what was going on. They were all drunk and to involved in kissing to be involved with us.
"You're gonna get it," Just before he could slap me again, Liam grabbed his wrist in mid-air and punched him in the face. I gasped since I've never seen Liam be this violent.
"Are you alright?" Liam shouted over the music. "I should of never left you here. I'm sorry I took so long," Liam caressed my cheek to make it feel better. It felt like I just burned it and I could feel thumping.
"W-we have to go," I stared at Anthony. He was getting up, angrier than ever. Liam turned around.
"It's not nice to hit people," Anthony sneered. His nose was bleeding.
"How did you get out of jail?!" I yelled. He was supposed to be in there for a few years, not a few months.
"I got bailed out. You forgot my family's rich," Anthony smirked. He made an attempt to swing at Liam but he blocked it and punched him in the face, yet again. Anthony was no match for Liam since he was two years younger than him and Liam was much more buff. Anthony was laying on the ground, holding his face in his hands. Liam and I took the chance to get out of there.
"Can this day seriously get any worse?" I threw my hands up and let them fall back down dramatically. Liam and I were both back in the limo and the driver had already started driving back home.
"I should of never brought you to that club. It's my fault you got hurt. I'm so stupid," Liam whispered the last part to himself.
"Liam, you're not stupid and it's definitely not your fault. You didn't know Anthony was there," I patted his back.
"But I brought you somewhere you weren't supposed to be,"
"It's going to be fine," Liam sighed and rested his head on my shoulder. I rested my head on top of his. Suddenly, a loud POP came from under us. The limo started slowing down and the driver pulled over to the side of the road.
"I'm sorry Mr. Payne and Miss. Garder. It seems as one of the tires has gone flat," the limo driver said, looking at us from the rear view mirror.
"I guess I was wrong, this day could get worse," I sighed.
"It's fine, Frank. I'll get somebody to pick us up," The limo driver, which I now learned is named Frank, got out of the limo to change the tire. Liam opened the door for me and I got out of the limo as well. When Liam and I were both outside, on the side of the road, Liam called one of his guards to pick us up in a black SUV. The boys, Alli, and Perrie were probably still at the red carpet doing whatever they're doing so Liam and I didn't want to disrupt them. A few minutes later, the black SUV pulled up and Liam and I climbed into it. "Are you sure you don't want to come with us? We can drop you of at your house and call a tow truck," Liam offered.
"No need, Mr. Payne. Just a flat tire. If I need anything, I have my trusty cell phone," Frank waved his cell phone in the air. I giggled and Liam waved goodbye, shutting the door. We both buckled up and headed back home. Hopefully, nothing bad will happen now. An hour later, we finally reached home. Their was mild traffic on the highway but we made it safe and sound.
"What a bizarre night," I slipped off my heels, which were killing my feet.
"Definitely," Liam also took off his dress shoes.
"Let's just watch a movie until everybody comes back," I suggested. Liam agreed and picked me up bridal style. I gave out a small shriek, surprised and giggled as Liam carried me into the bedroom. He set me safely on the bed and left me to change. I took off my dress and slipped on some comfy pajamas. I took off my makeup and let my hair fall into it's natural state. It was still a bit wavy from curling it earlier but I was too lazy to take a shower and have it go back to being straight. I slipped on some slippers to keep from having cold feet from the hardwood floor. Liam was waiting for the bedroom to be unoccupied so he could also change. I smiled when I saw him and gave him a peck on the lips.
"You're cheek," Liam softly brushed it. I winced from the pain. It wasn't as bad as before but it was still pretty sore. "Do you want an ice pack, love?"
"I think I'm fine. It'll get better in the morning," I headed to the couch. Liam nodded and started going into the bedroom. "What movie do you wanna watch?!" I asked, being loud enough so Liam could hear me.
"Surprise me!" he shouted back. I looked through the shelf of movies Alli has stocked up. Alli has every movie you could think of. I guess it's one of her 'collections'. She's a little obsessed with movies. I picked out 'Frozen' since it's my all time favorite Disney movie, now at least. Liam's is still 'Toy Story'. I can never get him to change his mind. I inserted the disk into the DVD player and went into the kitchen to make some popcorn. I don't eat the nasty microwave popcorn, I make it my way. I pop the popcorn kernels on the stove. It's fresh and way yummier! After the popcorn was popped and I loaded on the butter and salt, I made my way back into the living room to see Liam sitting on the couch with a large blanket. "Frozen?" he asked, an eyebrow raised.
"What? I like the movie," I sat down, placing the bowl of popcorn on the coffee table. "I forgot," I stood back up again. "A movie's not a movie without something to drink. I headed into the kitchen once again and grabbed two iced, sweet teas from the refrigerator. I kicked it closed and settled myself next to Liam again. I finally pressed play and the movie started to play.
