6. Chapter Five

"Hey, what's the yelling about?" Justin said, putting his arm around me. I shoved his arm off. "Damn, what's your problem?" Justin asked. "Everybody thinks you slept with her." Allie said. "Everybody must think I'm another one of your little whores..."

"They better hope I don't hear them saying that." Justin said. "My second day, and I've been classified as one of your sluts." I said, disgusted. "This isn't good for me."

"Sweetheart," Justin grabbed my arm. "Don't talk to me anymore." I said, taking my arm back. "Please, just dot talk to me." I practically begged. "C'mon Allie," I motioned for us to leave. "Farrah," Justin called after me.

"He's calling your name..." Allie said. "I told you he is exactly what I need to avoid. My second day and everybody probably thinks of me as on of his sluts." I sighed. We met up with Luke at his car. "What's wrong, Farrah?" Luke asked as I slid into the backseat. "Your cousin is what is wrong." I hissed. "I told you, Allie! I warned you that this would happen!" Luke said. "How was I supposed to know anything like this was going to happen?" She remarked, defensively. "She goes from homeschooling to a normal school, meets a guy, then this happens! I'm sorry. I've never had anything like this happen!"

Luke teeth were grinding and his hands were gripping the wheel so hard his knuckles turned white. When he finally turned up at the house, I quickly thanked Luke for the ride and made a beeline for front door. Allie, unlike me, stayed in the car. She seemed to be in a heated argument with her outraged boyfriend. As bad as it seemed, I was keeping an eye out on them. After maybe a dozen minutes, Allie slammed the car door absolutely fuming. The front door opened and closed, slamming. It happened again.

"Allie, get back here. We aren't finished!" Luke's voice, boomed. "We'll I am!" Allie hissed. I slowly got off the couch. I think I should-"  "Stay," Allie commanded. "Okay," I quickly sat back down.

"Don't drag her into this!" Luke said. He grabbed my arm and hoisted me up. "Please let go of me..." I whimpered. He instantly let go of me. He apologized, but Allie quickly started their bickering again outside this time. At the end of it all, Luke ended up leaving angry, but with a sad face and Allie's face was red with rage. I didn't bother her, afraid that I'd set her off.

I didn't talk to get for the rest of night except for a few exceptions. The next morning began as if nothing happened yesterday afternoon.

We went to school in her Honda. Everything seemed normal, except that Luke and Allie didnt really talk- not even at lunch.(he sat with one of the football players at lunch along with Justin)

"Hey," a boy sat beside me. His dark, perfectly messy hair made his beautiful blue-green eyes stand out. This boy was gorgeous, and talking... TO ME! "Um hi," I said. 'Who is this guy?' I mouthed to Allie. "I'm Collin," he smiled. "Hi, I'm.."

"Farrah. I know."

"Oh," I said awkwardly.

"I'm in your English class."

"So um I know we don't really know each other but I was wondering if you'd like to go out sometime?" He sounded shy but confident. "Um...sure...?" I said looking at Allie. She nodded and winked with a giggle. I shook my head. "Cool, so, tomorrow. Seven?"

"Seven," I confirmed.

"Great!" He smiled and walked away.  I turned my head and caught Justin staring, his jaw clenching. "You got your first date! And it's your second day!" Allie said. "Yea,"

"What did Mr. Prep want?" Justin's voice asked. He seemed obviously annoyed. "He asked her to go out with him tomorrow!" Allie answered.
"Gross." Justin's face screwed with disgust. "Says you, Mr. Walking One Night Stand." He winced a little. "Sorry, it's just-"

"I'll see you in bio." Justin interrupted me. I nodded.

After lunch, Luke pulled me aside and I brought Justin with me so that he could lead me to my next class. "Talk fast," I told him. "Can you talk to Allie for me?" He pleaded. I sighed but agreed. "Thanks, Farrah! I owe you." Luke said and ran off in the other direction. "Let's get to class," I pulled Justin's arm and he led me to bio.

Class went by slowly and I was informed that I wouldn't know what I got on my quiz until the end of the day. The rest of the day seemed to go on forever but like I was told my grade was up, I just had to go and see it. I made time to talk to Allie and convince her to talk to Luke again.

Justin, Allie, and I went to back to the biology classroom. Everybody was crowding up the hallway, but I reached the bulletin board soon enough. I looked for my name and Justin his. He had the top grade and I had the third highest grade. "I told you you could do it!" He poked my side. I smiled. "Thank you!" I hugged him. I was tense at first but after a few moments he relaxed. I let go but the next thing I knew I was being thrown over Justin's shoulder. "Make some room for this woman's giant head! She's a fucking genius!"

Allie was following us, giggling. Everybody was staring and I felt uncomfortable so I hid my face in  Justin's back. "Mr. Bieber! Put her down! No PDA!" Mrs. Channings said. He shrugged and carried me outside.

"Can we talk, sweetheart?" Justin asked when he finally set me down. "About what?" I looked down. "About yesterday. I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault. All we did was go eat and people assume something happened because you sleep with every girl." He looked down. "Sorry, that came out really bad." I gave him an apologetic smile. He smiled back. "Let's go see how Luke and Allie are doing." Justin said, handing me the white spare helmet. "We're seriously going to do this after what everyone is saying?" I asked. He shrugged.

"You really do have a "I don't give a shit" attitude." I laughed. He chuckled. "I guess it's okay because we're friends." I said. "Whatever you say, sweetheart."

"I've told you that I'm not your sweetheart,"

"And I've said that I've accepted the challenge." He winked and revved up his engine. I took the helmet and put it on. We drove for about what felt like ten minutes before we reached the apartment. He parked his bike outside the building and we went up to their apartment.

He unlocked the door and we stepped inside the bare apartment. You could hear Allie yelping like a puppy. She was giggling and I was sure I was close to throwing up. "I'll say they've made up." Justin laughed. "How about you take me home. I'm not going to stay here hearing them have sex." He agreed and got his keys to his motorcycle and we left as quickly as possible. The last thing I heard was Allie moaning Luke's name. EWWW!

"We can stay at my house." I suggested. He didn't say anything but still drove over to the house.

"Slow down!" I yelled when it felt like he was going 100 mph on the highway. "But that sucks the fun out it!" He laughed but slowed down.

We got to the house alive.

"What do we do?" Justin asked. "We can chill for a while. You can come up to my room. I guess we can watch a movie." I shrugged. He nodded and I led up the room.

"What do you want to watch?" I asked. "Whatever, I guess." He shrugged. "Something that'll last a while because they go hard and long."

"Too much info." I stated. "Right." Justin laughed. "High School Musical it is." I smiled. He laughed. We watched the movie and another while I waited to hear Allie come in. The last thing I remember was falling asleep watching 21 Jump Street.
