7. Chapter Seven

Hayley's POV

"See ya guys!" I waved, walking out the driveway with Harry.

We reached his car and he gave me a hug.

"Did you miss me?" I laughed.

"Yes. You're friends... They're, ah, interesting."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Jade asked me about ten times to lift up my shirt and prove I had a six pack."

I put my hand over my face and shook my head. She did that with every guy I brought home. Not saying there were lots of guys.

"I'm sorry." I laughed.

"It's okay. But now you have to meet my friends."

He let go of the hug and held me between the car and himself. He gave me a smirk and licked his bottom lip before giving me a passionate kiss. I put my hands into his mop of curls and lightly tugged. He moaned against my lips and slightly chuckled. He licked my bottom lip, asking for an entrance, but I denied it.

"You're such a tease." He whispered.

He went back into the kiss, but this time had his tongue in his mouth before I even realised we were kissing again. I playfully bit his bottom lip and he pulled away, smiling.

"That was hot." He winked.

I shoved his shoulder and opened the car door.

"Where are we going?" I laughed.

Harry and I had driven in silence for half an hour. He told me we were going somewhere special.

"I told you, somewhere special. But we're here anyway."

Harry skipped out of the car to my side, opening the door and helping me out. I tried to look around, figure out where we were, but before I knew it, there was a piece of material covering my vision. Harry held onto my hips the entire time, guiding me to where ever we were going. I stumbled on a rock, but Harry supported my waist.

"Careful." Harry laughed.

"Well, sorry, but I have no idea where we are or where we're going."

I heard Harry's throaty chuckle from behind me as he brought me to a stop. I went to take off my blindfold but Harry's hand swatted mine away. I felt his warm breath on my neck. He brought his hands to the back of my head and untied the material.

I rubbed my eyes, not used to the light that was shone upon us. From my quick glance, it looked like an oval. When I opened my eyes again, I discovered I was right. We were standing in the middle of a football oval. There were bright lights surrounding us, making it hard to see.

"What are we doing here?" I asked.

"I used to come here a lot. Play some football with my Dad." He said, shrugging it off like it was no big deal. He'd only spoken about his Dad once previously, saying he just left.

We started to walk around, but I stopped and looked around, breathing in my surroundings.

"Why'd you stop?" Harry asked. He brought his body in front of mine, looking down at me, his height casting a shadow over me.

"I-I just wanted..." I trailed off, not exactly knowing what to say.

I brought my arms out and wrapped them tightly around his torso. He seemed surprised by the gesture, but his warm, strong arms wrapped around my shoulders, bringing me closer into him. I could hear the soothing sound of his heart beat. I put my hand over his chest and closed my eyes, feeling comfortable in his arms.

"You know, this place is kinda important to me." Harry whispered.

"I bet you say that to all the girls." I laughed.

There was a long pause between us as Harry thought of something to say. It was obvious to me that what I said was in fact true.

"Y-you're actually the first girl I've ever brought here." He stuttered.

I smiled into his chest. He cupped my chin, bringing my face up to his.

"I mean it."

He gave me a light kiss on my nose. He started to pull away, but I grabbed the back of his neck, bringing him back into a deep kiss. His tongue lightly grazed my bottom lip and I opened my mouth, letting him explore. I had remembered from this afternoon when I bit his bottom lip and he liked it. I did it again, this time a littler harder. He moaned against my lips and smiled. He poked out his tongue, putting moisture back into his plump lips. Our foreheads stayed together, looking into each others eyes.

Everything seemed perfect, when suddenly we were drenched in water. I looked around to see that the sprinklers had turned on. Harry and I looked at each other and laughed. He ran into the water with me in his hand. I knew that by now my makeup would be running and my hair would be fuzzy, but I didn't mind. Skipping in the sprinklers with Harry was the most fun I had had in a while. It was definitely the most I had laughed in years. He grabbed my hand and flicked me away from him, but then twirled me back into him. I smiled and he gave me a quick kiss.

"Hey! Who's out here?!" An unknown voice called.

The sprinklers had stopped and we were left in the middle of the oval. There was a tall, bulky man in a navy blue uniform standing in the bleachers.

"Shit! Run!" Harry yelled.

I paused for a second, not knowing what to do. Harry grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the gate. It was then that my attention was brought back to the present and I started running. Most likely to Harry's surprise, I had overtaken him.

"Here." Harry chucked me a towel.

I caught it and dried my hair. Harry ran up his apartment stairs, leaving me alone, uncomfortable and wet in his lounge room. It was a good thing Zayn wasn't home, there would be a lot of explaining to do. I looked around the room, when my eyes met a photo of a little boy and girl. I walked over to it and touched the frame. It looked like a photo of Harry, but it might have been Zayn. Suddenly, something warm was wrapped around my shoulders. I turned my head to see Harry, his face only inches away from mine. He had wrapped one of his jumpers around me. He smirked, noticing what I was looking at.

"That's Gemma." He pointed at the little girl.

"Is she your sister?" I asked.

He just nodded and looked to the ground.

"She's pretty." I smiled.

"Do you want some tea?" Harry asked, obviously trying to change the subject.

"Yes please."

He walked into the kitchen and I followed, leaning up against the bench as he boiled the kettle. I held the jumper tightly around my body.

"Here." He laughed, handing me the tea.

I clung the mug in my hands, letting the warmth run through my body.

"So..." Harry slowly started.

"Why'd you bring me to that oval?" I asked.

I was still curious as to why he'd bring me, a girl he had only known for three days. We didn't know much about each other still, only the hard facts, but he felt like he could trust me enough to bring me to an important place to him.

He shrugged, "I thought you'd like it."

I really hated it when he shrugged. He was pushing it off, as if it was nothing, when, clearly, it means something to him. Harry got out of the kitchen and into the lounge room.

"Want to watch a movie?" He called.

I walked into the doorway for the lounge room and nodded, taking a sip out of the tea.

"How about something scary?" He asked.

"Sure." I smiled, "I love scary movies."

Harry excitedly smiled and ran to his cupboard of movies. His finger scanned the different DVD cases, finally landing on one and pulling it out. I could only just make out from where I saw standing that Harry had chosen The Conjuring. I sat on the couch, waiting for the movie to come on. Harry lied down on the couch with me, and pulled my body into his, so my back was to his front. He put his head on my shoulder and wrapped his arms around my waist as the movie started.

"Ah!" A scream escaped Harry's mouth as something jumped from the TV.

We had changed from how we were before, we were now sitting side by side, sharing a blanket. Harry put his head under the blanket and in my lap, trying to hide from the movie. I pulled up the blanket to see Harry with his eyes tightly closed and his hands over his ears. He opened one eye and noticed me looking at him.

"Is it over?" He whispered.

I let out a chuckle which made Harry smirk, revealing his cute dimples. I started to poke at them, and he gave me a confused look.

"You're such an idiot." He laughed.

Without much thought, I pushed him off the couch, leaving him flat on his back. He quickly grabbed my dangling leg, pulling me down with him.

"You're the idiot. And the bad kisser." I joked, knowing that the second part was completely false.

Harry shuffled closer to me, so close that our faces almost touched. I could feel his warm breath on my face as he continued to stare into my eyes.

"You want a bet?" He smugly whispered.

I felt my cheeks burn up, turning a dark shade of red. Harry smirked, knowing the affect he had on me. He glanced at my lips, and licked his own, before smashing them on mine.
