5. Secrets Exposed

Lea stared ahead of her as the wolf made it's way it to the moon light. It was big, about the size of Remus with many more scars scattered across his grey, dirty fur.

"Hunt, kill prey," he growled. Lea glared and shook her head. "Girl is wolf. Not changed. Kill oddity." Lea raised her brows in surprise, she didn't think it knew what 'oddity' meant. "Kill, eat prey."

"Who was the idiot that decided that it was a good idea for a werewolf to come here," Ron nearly shrieked.

"The Death Eaters," Kingsley breathed.

"Go away," Lea said first in English, then in growls, Raven hissed conformation.

"Kill," he growled.

"Who are you," Lea growled back, still glaring and standing in front of the group, Draco slightly to the side and behind her.

"Greyback. Kill," the wolf growled back and rushed to Draco.

Lea beat him to the punch, or rather pounce, and pulled him out of the way. Greyback retreated a few paces to start stalking his prey. Lea walked around the group parallel to the wolf, keeping in time, with her back straight to show no fear.

"Get back here, he'll rip you to pieces," Narcissa hissed as Greyback stopped.

"If the girl wants to get herself killed, then so be it," Lucius said to his wife. Draco heard the conversation and stood in front of his mother to watch Lea.

"Don't even think about it," she growled. Greyback pounced again, this time at Lea. It was too fast for Lea to do anything but change into her wolf form when she saw the wolf almost of her. No one spoke out of fear as she was clawed at, but he fur protected her more than before, not even letting blood be drawn.

As Greyback began to descend behind her, Lea bit down on his back leg and yanked him away from the group. She growled a warning, which Greyback ignore, and lunged at his throat. Wicker than what she thought possible, Lea was butting down hard on the other wolf's exposed throat ripping flesh slightly and allowing metallic blood to run onto her tongue and teeth as he lay on his back whimpering.

"Leave," Lea said as she withdrew her teeth slightly, letting him squirm away, yet making sure he had to get his throat cut to do so, but not badly. Greyback ran from them and found a healer after the sun came out.

Lea looked back at the moon and saw it was still some time before the sun would raise, about three hours still. She then looked back at the group she had protected. Admittedly, she could have survived if Lucius had been killed, but that would have been too much of a risk for the others to get hurt. The group was staring at her like she had just turned into a monster, which she technically had. All, that is except Juliet, who had gone to sleep as soon as the other werewolf ran off, Kingsley, who had expected it, and Draco, who had seen this all before. Oh, and Amelia, who was looking at her with concern.

"Are you alright," she asked her daughter, who nodded. It still felt weird nodding in wolf form.

Unfortunately, that's when the spell of fear broke. Lucius' eyes narrowed and he grabbed his wand and raised it, only for Kingsley's to be next to his head, waiting for him to move. Draco, who had lifted the side of his mouth in a small grin, was soon hidden from view by his mother. Harry and Ron both pulled out their wands and were pointing them at Lea while Hermione had her wand out, but was looking around for anything off.

"Out your wand away," Kingsley growled as Lucius glared at Lea, who by now was kind of scared. Not for herself, but for her family. Her eyes were soon pressed against her head in fear.

"That mudblood werewolf will be dealt with now," he hissed. This time, Lea began to fear for herself, but wasn't about to back down. She growled at Lucius who, in response, narrowed his eyes a bit more and silently cast a spell that made the plants grow and hold her paws, causing her to growl again, more for fully this time.

Then, she whimpered at she saw that same thing happening to her mother.

"NO!!!!" Hermione yelled as she saw the plants start to squeeze Amelia, thankfully, Juliet was still out cold. She quickly sent a counter curse her way as Amelia gasped in pain, making Lea growl again, ready to kill him.

"Father! Stop!!! Don't anger her!!!!" Draco yelled, jumping out from behind his mother.

Kingsley, who was still holding his wand to Lucius, now tried to watch Lucius, Lea, Amelia, and Juliet all at the same time, making it easy for Lucius to grab his wand away from him.

"I will not let that thing anywhere near me," Lucius hissed and pulled his wand back.

"DON'T!!!!" Draco yelled, hoping that it would at least cause his father to hesitate. It didn't.

Suddenly, four people shouted 'Protago!' at the same time. Just as the spell was about to hit Lea, thankfully, not a fatal one, it was deflected by the powerful shield, only it disappeared as suddenly as it came.

Lucius turned to see Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco, wands raised. "I will deal with you later," Lucius growled out to Draco. As Lea heard this, she pulled her paws free of the plants and growled as loudly as possible at him, not caring about her safety anymore. He was threatening her Pack!!! Then there was a loud CRACK, no one turned to it, but Lea recognized the sent and didn't care.

"I thought you were smarter than to provoke a werewolf Lucius. Obviously I was wrong," a voice sneered behind them in dry humor.

"Severus, what are you doing here," Kingsley asked as he got to his feet. By this time, the fake predawn was lighting up the sky.

"Lea, care to explain," Severus asked as he walked up to the wolf, who was looking sheepish.

Raven ran out from the middle of the group to wind herself around the legs of the Potions Master, never tripping him.

"You knew about this?" Hermione asked incredulously, referring to Lea being a werewolf.

"All the staff does," Severus sneered at her. "Now change," he said turning back to Lea, who was sitting on the ground. She snorted, it must be a guy thing to forget the obvious.

"She won't," Draco told him, startling his mother.

"Think about last time," was Draco's reply. Soon, Severus was holding a pair of robes for Lea, who soon had them on her back and went to get her clothes on. When she came back, everyone exploded.
