9. Chapter 9

“Where would she have gone?” Magnus said, un-worriedly, as if nothing had happened. “How am I meant to know? She’s your daughter!” Will said sarcastically. “I haven’t seen her since she was 2, and to add on to that her ‘mother’ blocked off any letters or parcels I sent to her, when she was 4. Oh and then wiped her memory of ME OR ALEC!” His voice grew louder with concern and rage. “Alright, I understand your upset-” Will was interrupted by Derek walking into the room looking fairly calm, compared to what had happened.

Before, Magnus and Will (well mostly Will) had already explained what had happened and how, and some other important issues involved in their situation, expecting him to do something, but he’d just said “Wait one minute, I’ll be back.” They’d waited and argued, and then waited so more and then argued again. They both had been caught off guard when he returned.  “I’ve informed the Clave.” Derek said. “And? What did they say?” Magnus said while sitting down, obviously it was too much for the old warlock. “They said just to said you should round to find her, they said it wasn’t important and none of their concern. But they are angry at you Will, they’re having a meeting about how to punish your mistakes, now, but that does mean that you, Will, are not going on this expedition. They want you to wait her while they decide what happens. “He took a deep breath as anger was revealed on his face. “Don’t even think about running off any way I know you will, and you.” He was looking directly at Magnus now. “Don’t you even think about helping him escape.” He chattered. “Yes, sir!” Magus shouted, softly, while saluting.

After Derek had left the room, Magnus and Will spoke together. Magnus said “Where do you think she will have gone?” and Will said “Help me get out of this hell hole, I can help you.” “What?” They spoke together. Will then said, by himself “I can help you find her, I think I have an idea of where she’ll be.” Magnus got up from the chair, he looked really annoyed. “Fine, but remember I don’t particularly like you so…” “So?” Will questioned. “I’m doing this to help her, not, you.” Will then spoke happily “Great we’re even then. Come on then kitty eyes.” Will started to walk front, in the direction of the door, not forgetting to pick up his weapons belt off the side. Magnus pushed in front of him and said “Ok then, baby bottom.” Magnus said and glided past him, pushing his shoulder. Will was offended and stroked his bum checking it wasn’t that small. Hey, it’s was chicks dig about me. Will thought, it had to be a joke, didn’t it? Will pulled himself together and waddled up to Magnus, closing the door behind him.

It had been quiet and awkward in the van for a while now; Jade was starting to feel the pain in her ankle again. Jade was clenching it hard now, when she breathed it just made it hurt more, she was gasping and whined and she must have sounded like she was being murdered. Orlando had look at her since he introduced himself, he was red in the face and looked hungry, really hungry. “You ok?” I asked as a loud gasp of pain escaped my lips. “Yeah…I’m great…fine…just fine.” He stuttered back. “Really ‘cause you don’t…OUCH…seem it.” He giggled and spoke clear and kind. “Says you” He laughed as he licked his lips. “WOW, dude, you’re freaking me out a bit. Stop that! Please!” I pleaded as he edged forward. “You really don’t understand, I haven’t been fed in weeks, my stomach might commit suicide if I don’t. Please forgive me.” He said when our faces were inches apart from each other. “What the hell? What are you on about? I mean, like, I’m hungry too but I wouldn’t go all…cannibal on you, well me in this situation. Please, you’re really freaking my out! ORLANDO!” I yelled as a wide smile spread across his pale face. I started to back up against the wall, but my back hit it. I looked round for a way out of his arm-cage, but they’re wasn’t. I could hear the men in the front laughing at me. “Look, if you’re feeling insecure. I know people who can help. PLEASE! Orlando, please lis-” I was petrified, I couldn’t move, as I looked at the glistening needle fangs that stuck out of his mouth. I screamed and squealed as he moved his mouth down towards my neck. It felt like an injection that you get in school, a cold numbing sensation, then the pain kicks in and makes you melt. His hands moved on to my shoulders as his teeth went deeper. I tried to scream, but when I opened my mouth nothing came out, I was frightened. But then, it was like hearing an angel in a place of hell, one of the men from the front of the truck blurted out that Orlando shouldn’t feed too long on Jade or she wouldn’t be much use to them then. He moved back and wiped his mouth with his sleeve and smiled. Jade moved further and further into the corner and looked at Orlando with complete fear and fright. “Hey, look, I’m sorry, but they were paying me to do that and I was so hungry, if you were a vampire you would understand.” He held out his hand to her to help her get up, she shook her head completely baffled. Jade was about to say something when the back doors flew open and a strange man, that hadn’t been one that had brought them to where ever they were, grabbed them both by the collars of their t-shirts and dragged them out of the car. “Well, I see someone had a little feed off someone else, did they? That’ll cost you.” He was speaking to out drivers now. They nervously replied “Well, sir we thought we’ve have a bit of fun with the lass and wee boy. Do we still get the full payment?” The man almost screamed his words to them “NO, NEVER! I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE NEVER TRUSTED YOU SHADOWHUNTERS! LEAVE!” They fled back into the van and drove off at almost 100 miles per hour, obviously Jade couldn’t blame them, this man was damn scary, but Jade wasn’t looking at them she was trying to see under her kidnapper’s hood, she wanted to see his face but he just huffed and threw them into the dark house. But what frightened Jade more was, he was willing to pay the drivers just to get her and Orlando, but what did he want them for?
