14. Red-Headed She Devil Part One

"DAD!" I screamed in Russian as Mystique grabbed him from behind and shoved something into his neck.

How could he be so STUPID?!

I flew at her, choosing my ice form and shooting ice daggers at her.

She weaved around my attacks and dodged some of my daggers. A few embedded themselves into her skin and started to freeze the openings they'd created.

I went on the defensive as she came at me, attacking me and kicking at my head. I growled at her and swiped at her face with my claws.

Logan interrupted our battle and took my place.

I glare at him but conceded the fight to him as I turned to check on my father.

He was knocked out. And I was very disappointed in him.

Mom was now interceding against Mystique. Logan flanked my side, along with Tony. Clint, Bruce, the Bald Professor, and Steve were front-lining and keeping the fight secured in that particular area, keeping me and my daddy safe from any harm.

"I looked down at the syringe that had been plunged into Daddy's neck. I sniffed at it and drew back in horror.

"Logan!" I snapped in Japanese, afraid. "Do you smell that?! Is it what I think it is?" I was shaking now.

From fear or rage I wasn't sure.

He sniffed at it, picking it up and then dropping it as if it had burned him. "CHUCK!" He growled in fear and anger.

"Logan, what is it?" A shrill woman's voice sounded from in front of us.

A red-head came sauntering over to us and gave me the whole "who are you supposed to be" scrutinizing look. I ignored her, switching to my fiery form, knowing that this had to be burned out through heat from Daddy's body.

"Charles!" Logan once again called out to the Bald Professor Grandpa Guy.

"What IS wrong?!" The red-head continued to scream at us.

If almost had enough of it when the French Creeper appeared and said, "Relax, Jean."

I stiffened and was ready to go off on her and they could tell. My flames had shot up as soon as I heard his voice and then her name.

"HAWK!" Tony yelled, looking at me in concern.

I breathed and tried to relax more, knowing that Daddy needed me right now.

"Alright, Logan! I need you to pick Director Coulson up and take him to the infirmary. Hawkeye, go and let Agent Romanoff know what is going on. Tony, I need you and Banner on my six. I know what to do. NOW! MOVE!"

"Who are YOU to be giving out orders?!" That annoying red-head snapped at me.

I--surpisingly--continued to ignore her and looked at Creepy French Guy. "French Creeper, what can you do?" I demanded.

He smirked at me and wound his arm around my shoulders. "That depends. What's in it for me?" He purred at me.

I smiled sweetly at him and leaned up to his ear and whispered, "I'll keep my Uncles from killing you for a day."

He looked at me, confused. "Toooonnnnyyyyy...... He's --" I was cut off by a hand covering my mouth.

"Alright, alright. I'm Gambit. I can make things, especially cards explode."

I smirked at this new intel. "Excellent."

He started to back away from me, as I ran off with my uncles to go help my dad.
