Talking To The Moon *Sequel to Counting Stars*

**SEQUEL TO Counting Stars** Lela and Ashton finally ran away together. They have a place of their own. The air is thick though. She knows she ran away from some issues but running doesn't make them go away. To add to the thoughts, an important questions runs into her, someone comes to their life that Ashton is unsure of, and Lela finds out something that could change the whole course of their lives.

1. Surprise

He is on one knee, holding out a ring.

I'm frozen.

"I know, its only been a year, but we have been through so much together. I love you. I can't lose you, ever. So, will you marry me?"

The air got suddenly thick. I think only I felt that way though.

"Yes. Ashton. Yes. I will marry you." I said.

A thousand things ran through my mind as I said yes.

I do believe my heart stopped for a second.

"Really?" He asked, "You seem unsure of yourself."

I don't know.

"Yes Ashton, I'm sure." I said. He stood up and hugged me.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I sighed.

I need to calm down, I'm getting married to the love of my life. It will be good. We ran away together to start over, we are definitely starting over.

He kissed me.

I felt that weird feeling that I had felt when we had first kissed. Scared but safe.

"You know, I think the best part about this house, is the fact that everything is already in here. We don't need to do anything."

"Haha, you're welcome." He laughed.

"I'm just going to take a look around. I need to think. A lot has happened in one day." I said as I walked away.

"Okay." He said, "I'll bring our stuff in."

He turned around and walked into the kitchen where the door was.

I sighed and looked around. The living room was huge. the kitchen was just as big. I walked into the hall way. There were four doors. The first door was a bathroom. The second door was a medium sized bedroom. The third door was another bedroom, just like the one before.

The last door was a huge bedroom. Everything about this room was beautiful. I could definitely tell this was our bedroom.

"Do you like it?" Ashton asked as he walked into the room."

"No. I love it." I looked at him and kissed him. "Almost as much as I love you." I sighed.

This was going to be good for us. New town. New home. New start.
