This Isn't Love

Morgan encounters a mysterious, yet breathtaking boy. Although she wants to, she can't resist him.

2. Chapter 2

"I just need to find my friend." I didn't like the look he was giving me.

"I'll help you" He smiled down at me, his green eyes sparkling.

"I think I can do it" I was starting to get annoyed. I just wanted him to go away. His presence wasn't wanted and I was trying to let him know that.

"Come on, let's go look for her." He said as he reached for my hand.

"No." I said firmly as I pulled my hand away.

"Woah, you're a feisty one." He chuckled. I looked back over to the crowd and stood on my tippy toes so I could try to spot Arthi. I started to walk away from the curly haired boy, but he grabbed my hand. "Where are you going?" He smirked.

"Um, can you just leave me alone." I said in an annoyed voice.

"I don't think so" His dimples were showing as his smile widened.

"Ugh" I grunted as I yanked my arm out of his grip and walked towards the crowd. I was determined to get as far away from him as possible. My small body was being bumped around by all the people crowded together, some trying to dance. As I pushed through, I saw a light in another room that seemed like the kitchen. I walked closer to it and immediately heard Liam's voice.

"Oh, there you are" Arthi said as I walked into the room. It wasn't crowded at all in there.

"I wanna leave." I said, my voice still filled with annoyance. I was hoping that Liam would hear me, but he was to busy with some other guys.

"Why, what happened?" Her voice suddenly shook with concern.

"I just don't like parties." I didn't want to tell her about the boy I had just encountered.

"I'll tell Liam" She turned to him and whispered in his ear. I watched him pull her to the other side of the room as they continued to speak to each other.

"Sorry guys I've gotta take her home, she doesn't feel well." Liam came back over and spoke to his friends.

I laid on my bed with my laptop on my lap and scrolled through my list of homework that I had yet to start. My teachers always put our work on the computer. They never seemed to be shy about giving it either. I was already showered and ready for bed, but Arthi was still downstairs with Liam. I guess he thought he needed to stay longer because she was 'sick'. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs so I continued to act like I was doing homework.

"Did you meet someone tonight?" Arthi came through the door of my room.

"No" I wasn't going to tell her about the boy I talked to.

"Are you sure?" She questioned as if she knew I was lying.

"Pretty sure"

"Well then why did Liam keep getting messages from Harry about the 'girl he took home'" I didn't know what to say at this point.

"I don't know who 'Harry' is." I spoke plainly.

"Morgan" Her tone was firm. I felt like I was being questioned as if I were a murderer.

"What" I smiled.

"You're really hard headed, you know." She couldn't help but smile back.

"I know" I grinned.

"So, was he cute?" She sat on my bed and smirked at me.

"Oh, he must've been really cute" She laughed.
