2. The Test

When I was done getting dressed it was time for me to leave.I went to Timmy who was waiting for me so we could start playing again.

"Timmy I have to go now," I said slowly while playing with the arm of the chair.

"But I thought we were going to keep playing remember?" He said walking up to me.

With him only being 5 it was hard to look in his eyes and tell him something he didn't want to hear.

"Timmy, we talked about this; Morgan has to leave now." My exclaimed walking into the living room.

"It's okay mom," I bent down looked at Timmy. "I will be back don't worry. Mom needs you so if anyone tries to hurt her okay?"

"Okay." He replied.

I picked him up and gave him and mom a hug.

"We love you." My mom said.

"I love you guys too." Then I walked out.

All of the factions were lined up. Of course u wasn't on of them since today I was going to hope not to be Divergent. I had heard about a girl and a boy who was Divergent but they were stronger than I am.

The faction that I am choosing is Amity. It is for people who are peaceful. Who care for nature and technology. They are known to be very spiritual.

They put me with a group of people. A woman called my name and put me in a room. In the room was a seat that had a small space just for your head.

"Drink this," she said. I obeyed what she said. The drink looked almost like water with a splash of dark blue. After I was done I gave the small cup to her and she sat it on the bar behind her.

"Please place head into this space right here." The woman said while pointing to the space.

I did what she said. Next thing I knew I was floating. Floating in air. I felt free though I wasn't in control of it. I was wearing a tan dress and I was barefoot. I was floating near a water. I have never heard of a such thing. Then I dropped and the whole scene started to fall apart. Like how glass shatters when you hit it hard. Or how stairs collapse when it catches on fire. It fell apart.

I opened my eyes and the woman looked surprised.

"What just happened?" I asked out of breath.

"I was about to ask you the same thing. You seem out of breath and somewhat scared." She exclaimed examining my body.
