"It takes more than one look to know that you've fallen in love.." "Your right. It takes a heart beat." Ashleigh had never shown anyone that certain side of her that craved to be loved. She never told anyone how she cried her heart out at romantic movies, or how she longed for a boyfriend like the movies. She was a hopeless romantic, but she knew she could never have anything like it.. Until, one night, while she is out, she makes a bet with a certain 'Louis Tomlinson' that falling in love isn't as easy as it seams on TV. The deal is that if he can get her to fall in love with him after 4 months of spending time together, then she has to stay with him, but if he can't, then she can walk out the door and never speak to him again. Ashleigh agrees, and thinks that she will be able to resist his beautiful eyes and his cheeky smile... But that task proves harder than she may have thought.

1. The Deal.

They make falling in love look so easy. In the movies. The way they look at one another and know that they are their soul mate. But that's not how it works. I wish it was, but falling in love is not so straight forward. You have to go through all this emotion and gooey, love, sickly stuff before you get to the core of your real feelings for this guy. Don't get me wrong, I've always wanted to fall in love. I always wanted someone to love me like the movies. Like Romeo loved Juliett, like Jack loves Rose, Like Edward loves Bella. But, guys like that don't exist in real life....

Sophie pulled me by the wrist, out of my seat and onto the dance floor. I felt so awkward, since hardly anyone else was dancing. But who cares! I was here to have a good time! Sophie had dragged me out of my bed at 3:30 today, only to tell me that she was taking me to an important party, to help me get over the heartbreak that I had just suffered. My first proper boyfriend had dumped me... Over text. I mean, it's bad enough to dump a girl on her 19th birthday, but to do it over text! So, Sophie had dragged me out here tonight, as a sort of Get-The-Hell-Over-Him / birthday party. Alothough, she hadn't really booked this place, we had just sort of turned up. Obviously Sophie had picked our outfits for the eavning, so we revived a few stears, wolf whistles and droopy looks as we walked in. But, there was a table of guys in the corner of the room, who had not glanced around the room once. Wonder what their problem was?

After a few more minutes of shuffling around the dance floor, or as Sophie called it, dancing, I had to go and get another drink. Sophie just set out around the room, looking for a pair of single guys for us both to hook up with. If I was perfectly honest, I didn't really care about boys anymore. They were all titfaces.. I leaned against the bar, waiting to be served. From where I was standing, I could hear the conversation coming from the table of guys who hadn't moved all night. "It's okay man.." Said a very recognisable voice. I slyly peaked over my shoulder and tried to make out their facial features in the dark. I didn't need to see their faces though, because I recognised their voices. The first voice belonged to a curly haired, cheshire lad named, yep, you guessed hit, Harry Styles. I looked around the table and realised that the whole of One Direction were siting there, trying to comfort someone. I saw their face flat on the table, and they seamed to be crying. Using common knowlage, I guessed it was Louis, since the other boys where sitting around him. Poor Louis. I tried to ear wig at what was going on. "She was too stuck up mate." Niall's mouthwatering irish accent spoke, causing Louis to look up at him. He had tear stains on his cheeks, and his eyes were blood shot. I just wanted to go over there and hug him! It made me feel really bad, even though I had nothing to do with it and it was none of my buissnes. "Maybe we should just find you another chick before management does." Zayn suggested. Then they all started to look around, and Harry's gaze immidiantly met mine. Uh-oh. "Hey!" He called to me. No. No, no, no. I was not going to sit with Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. I pulled my head back to face the bar, but suddenly, Harry was at my side. I pulled my hair around my face so that he couldn't see me... But it didn't work. "Hi." He smiled. I peaked through my hair, and saw his beautiful green eyes, watching me closely. "Hello." I said politely. I dared myself another glance over to the table where the amazing boy band sat, and this time, they were all watching me intensely, including Louis. I tired my head back around and faced the bar, not Harry, but he spoke any way. "Can I ask you a question?" He asked shyly. I decided not to be that stuck up, selfish girl you met at the club who never wants to speak to anyone... "Course." I said, pulling my hair away from my face, straight away feeling more confidant. "Do you believe in love at first sight?" His question caught me off guard. I used to believe in love at forts sight... When I watched it on TV or read about it. But then I realised that, you can't fall in love as soon as you lay eyes on that person. I mean, what if you were just walking down town and you saw some one, and you instantly fell in love. If you wet and told that person, they would probably think you were some kind of stalker and call the police. Then you would never see them again. "No." I answered honestly, with a heavy sigh. Harry places his hand on top of mine, and I stared at it, slightly confused. I was about to ask what the hell he was doing, when he pulled me so hard, I thought my arm and come out of its socket. He pulled me over to their table in excitement and sat me down between him and Liam. I did like One Direction, but I wasn't like a major fan girl or anything. But if I was, this would have been really awkward. Louis was sitting directly opposite me. He was sitting up now and smiling, but I could still see tear stains on his cheeks and redness around his eyes. "I'm sorry.. I never caught your name." Harry realised suddenly. "Um.. Ashleigh." I said awkwardly. Louis continued to smile at me, and it was starting to feel a little strange. "Louis.." Harry started, then he leaned in and whispered something to Louis. I had heard about Louis. How, even when he was down, he liked to make others happy, or cheer himself up. I could tell whatever Harry was saying to him, he likes the idea. And I had the feeling that it was something to do with me. "Ashleigh." Louis said finally. "How would you like to make a deal?" He said, raising his eyebrows in an extremely sexy way. I decided to go back to being the sassy, up-for-anything-you-got kinda girl. I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned across the table. "Bring it." I grinned. "Woah! I've never seen this side of you, Ashleigh!" Harry laughed. I gave him a death glare, "you met me 2 minutes ago.." I reminded him. He nodded and Louis continued. "You don't believe in love at first sight?" He asked, "true.." I stated. I could feel and evil plan, boiling inside of him. That sounded weird.... "Well." Louis said loudly. "I bet I can make you fall in love with me.." He smiled. I was not expecting that. But I wasn't going to let my guard down just yet. "How long do you have?" I smirked, and this caught him of guard. He must have thought that would scare me. It did a little, but nothing that I couldn't handle. "Urm.." He struggled to think straight when Niall butted in. "FOUR MONTHS!" He yelled. I snapped my head round and faced him. He smiled and I looked back at Louis, a big, fake smirk plastered on my face. I was trying to make it look like I was not scared, but I was actually quite terrified. Louis was also trying his hardest to look tough, but I could see the fear in his eyes. "Your on!" I finally said. Louis looked at me and smiled. I was actually about to spend 4 months with Louis Tomlinson....
