Searching For My Legendary Parents

Since I love the Percy Jackson series SO much, I've decided to make a Percy Jackson story. Please don't hate on it, if you don't like it, don't read it! Thanks guys! =)

4. Chapter 3

I guess you're wondering what happened to my parents, yeah?

They went on a rescue mission in Washington State, for a daughter of Apollo and a son of Aphrodite, but they never came back, no one knows why, and Chiron says that he has done everything in his power to find them (Iris message, Rachel, scouts... Olympus) but no one knows where they are.

Kane and I miss them so much, and it breaks my heart to see him so sad. I know I have to find them, I just don't know how yet.

My head snaps up from my arms, that were resting on my knees. I see Chiron standing in the doorway, with his horse half about to break the door.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"We have a new demi-god joining camp today, I was wondering if you could show him around." He says, and smiles warmly.

"Sure, I don't have anything else to do." I say hopping up off the couch, in the living room of the Big House.

"Come along," He says and ushers me out the door to find a gorgeous guy with a curly mop of dark brown hair, warm brown eyes, and tan skin, waiting on the porch of the Big House.

He smiles an mischievous smile. "Hi, I'm Blair," He says, holding out his hand.

I shake his hand, with a loss for words. "Hi, I'm... I'm uh..."

"Kayden!" I flinch at the sound of my name, which I had forgotten not even a moment ago, and drop Blair's hand.

I turn to look at the source of the voice, and find my little brother running up to us.

"Quinn's looking for you," He says breathlessly, once he reaches us.

"This your little brother?" Blair grins.

"Yeah," I smile, then turn to Kane. "Can you tell Quinn that I'm about to show a new camper around? Chiron's orders."

He nods and starts off towards the arena.

"You guys look alike, you know," Blair says as we start walking away from the Big House.

"No, we don't," I laugh.

"Yes you do," He smiles.

"Whatever," I chuckle.

What is going on? I'm usually not like this in front of guys, mom never was. I'm usually more self-preserved, not giggling like an idiot from the Aphrodite cabin (no offense guys).

"So, who's your godly parent?" I ask.

"Uh, godly parents and grandparents," He corrects me. "And it's Atlas and Hephaestus. And my actual parents are Calypso and--"

"Leo Valdez?" I cut him off.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" He asked.

"You guys look alike, you know," I mock him from earlier.

He grins. "No, we don't."

"Yes, you do," I smile.

He rolls his eyes and smiles at me.

"So did you inherit Leo's fire proof-ness?" I ask him.

"I don't know really," He says. "I've never really tried."

"Hmm... So if I lit you on fire--"

"Don't even think about it," He playfully whispers, while his face is inches away from mine to make the scene dramatic.

"Or what?" I whisper back, totally flirting with him.
