Scott Riddle's Secret

I am assuming that you have all read about Harry Potter. He was the famous wizard who defeated Voldemort. The Harry Potter series were written to explain about Harry, and they were almost perfect. J.K. Rowling wrote that Voldemort never loved. But maybe he did. Read about Scott Riddle, a.k.a. Voldemort's son.

22. (Part 4) Who is that?

Johnny and Scott talked and laughed at the Hogwarts Express, forgetting what happened. They started to forget about Maddie. When they arrived at Hogwarts, Johnny and Scott walked out of the Hogwarts Express.

They ran to the Great Hall with the other students. Johnny looked excited that they were entering their sixth year. But Scott was nervous. Everyone said that Sixth Grade was tough. It was their N.E.W.T. year.

After the sorting ended, Dumbledore said the usual rules, they had their feast, then went to Gryffindor Tower.

Maddie was still mad at them, and apparently, she was talking with Robin Enderson. She had been going out with Robin since last year, but she had never looked so happy to see Robin.

Scott and Johnny tried to ignore them. Especially Maddie.

The next day, they got their schedules. Johnny and Scott had the same subjects. They hoped that Maddie didn't have the same subjects as they did.

Johnny and Scott's first subject was Potions. How boring. It was taught by Professor Jarlotte. He was an old man and was retiring soon.

He said, "Sixth Year Priorities. They are very important. You all know what priority means, I assume. It are things that are more important than other things. Some of the priorities are to do your homework, turn your homework in time, study hard for tests, and participate in class."

He cleared his throat and continued,

"Since you are N.E.W.T. students now, you will have to participate in class more than ever. There is always some people who don't pass this year. But if you do as I tell you to do, you'll do perfectly fine."

Next class was Transfiguration. McGonagall gave another speech about the sixth year priorities. For the rest of the week, the only thing the teachers talked about was the sixth year priorities.

Sixth Year was a lot of work. They had tons of tests, homework, and projects. But the only good thing about sixth year was the dances. The sixth years and seventh years could attend dances that Hogwarts held once a month. Everyone said that it was fun.

Johnny looked sulky about it though. He hated dances. But Scott was sort of happy and excited. He wondered if any other girl would become a replacement of Scarlett.

Scarlett... She hadn't written to him since the battle. Scott assumed Scarlett loathes him now. He also assumed that her brother was dead.

Days drifted by. Homework. Homework. Test. Test. Project. Homework. Test.

It continued. Johnny and Scott simply hated it.

They had still hadn't said a word to Maddie. Maddie was playing with a girl named Linda Parker now.

Linda was a great Quidditch player, but got Ds on tests. It was amazing how Maddie ever managed to talk with her. Maddie was totally opposite of Linda.

But somehow, they seemed to get a long very well. They seemed to have more fun than ever.

Scott and Johnny were having a great time, too. They could talk about girls and teachers that they hated without worrying that Maddie would tell.

Johnny and Scott were relaxing under a big tree. Many students were outside. It was a nice day.

Johnny was staring at some girls playing. That wasn't so unusual. Johnny was obsessed with girls. Scott was eating an apple. He was trying to see what some other boys were doing.

But in the middle of them, he saw a girl. The boys were dueling with each other, but only playing. They were using simple spells as the levitating charm and tickling spells.

The girl was playing with them. She shot a laughing gas spell at one of the boys. She was having fun with the boys.

She had light brown hair that was very long. But she had tied it into a ponytail. She had greenish blue eyes. Her skin was a little tan.

Scott stared at her. He couldn't help but stare. After a while, he just had to go closer to her.

He told Johnny, "I'm going to go inside to eat something. I'll be right back."

Johnny was too distracted in staring at the girls. He didn't seem to care. Scott slowly walked to the boys and the beautiful girl.

When he was close to them, he said,

"Hey guys, can I play?"

The boys said, "Sure! Just join!"

The girl said, "Hi, I know you. You're Scott Wilson."

Scott said, "That's me! What's your name?"

The girl said, "I'm Natalie Everdeen. Nice to meet you."

Scott stared at Natalie. She was beautiful itself.

Scott played with Natalie and the boys for hours. He felt so happy. He had found his love. Natalie Everdeen would replace Scarlett Loughson.
