On tour with One Direction

Ashleigh is just an average, everyday girl with a strong passion for singing. Uploading YouTube videos regularly, she was a star in the making. But one day she gets a very exciting phone call from a certain boyband and her whole life and career as a singer changes...

6. The first show.

Ashleigh's POV

"I can't believe that just happened!" I squealed as my mom and I walked back to the car. She laughed in response and opened the car door. I clambered in still shaking with excitement. Louis had seemed really interested in me! Hadn't he?!

Or did I have something in between my teeth since he couldn't stop looking at me? Oh, no I bet I've made a fool of myself. I let a long, frustrated sigh and leaned right back in my chair.

"Everything ok?" My mom asked. I put on a fake smile and nodded my head a bit too eagerly. A little while later and we were pulling up outside the house. I was tiredest I'd ever been due to extreme excitement and lack of sleep from staying up all night the night before because I was so nervous.

I flopped down onto my bed and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. I woke up the next morning bleary eyed and really droopy. I'd slept great, having countless dreams of Louis!

I trudged downstairs and made my usual breakfast - crumpets loaded with butter. I realised the tour started in two weeks and I began to feel the nerves suddenly kick in.

2 weeks later...

We'd had many more meeting since the first one and pretty much the whole time of every meeting I spent talking to Louis.

We became the closest out of all the other boys and he never failed to make me laugh and feel all cheery. I still got mental butterflies in my stomach whenever I met up with them. They were One Direction after all!

It was the day if the first show and we were kicking off the tour in London. Thousands of screaming fans were waiting out there and they came to see One Direction. Not me. What if they just wanted the boys and they didn't like me?

Nerves really did start to kick in and I began to feel really nervous. I went super dizzy and my face went a ghostly pale colour. I needed to sit down for a minute. I sat alone in a small chair backstage breathing calmly.

"Hey are you alright?" Zayn asked as he settled down beside me. I nodded my head weakly as he rubbed my shoulder.

"Everyone gets nervous. Even us! But trust me when you get out there, it's the best feeling in the world!" Zayn described performing with such passion.

"Really?" I asked feeling a bit more relaxed now Zayn had reassured me. He nodded his head and I jumped up ready to go.

"Let's do this then!" I exclaimed as I jogged to wait behind the stage.

The lights went down and thousands of screams erupted around the massive room. A rush of adrenaline ran through my body as I ran on stage. People screamed even louder as I hurried out and I was shocked that were screaming for me! I was shocked by the vast amount of people who were there ready to be entertained. The opening bars to the first song (which was we can't stop by miley cyrus) came on and I opened my mouth to sing. The words flowed from my mouth like a gentle stream and I instantly felt at ease. Singing made me comfortable and feel the best I'd ever felt!

I jumped, I laughed, I made the crowd laughed and had the best time I'd ever had! When it was time too come off and introduce the boys I was very upset. I wish I could've done it all again when I realised I would be able to and lots of times as well!

I was glad because on stage performing was the one place where all of my worries could just melt away.
