Fallen Kingdom: The Afterlife

If the past had changed Harry's destiny, did it? Yes. He is dead, and there is no hope in the Wizarding World. This is in Ginny and George's POV. Note: This is sad.

8. They Came Calling

George's POV

Dad. I had revived Mum just long enough to drag her to bed. She was in shock, in grief too extreme for any words or tears. I went downstairs, feeling hopeless. Fred, Dad, Harry, who next? We are all going to die. I slumped outside, and slammed the door. Only Mum was here. Percy was still at work, along with Charlie. It was June. June 13th. June was my month of doom. So was May. A death in each. My grief tore at my heart, and I closed my eyes. Tears welled up, threatening to spill. I gave in. Warm tears slid relentlessly down my face, as I looked to the heavens, screaming.

"Why! Why us? I have done nothing to deserve... t-this. Nothing." I sobbed.

"Someone save us!" I whimpered, slumping into the wall as rain poured down on me, drenching me to the skin. I don't know how long I sat there, and when I finally looked up, my eyes were so puffy I could barely see. I rubbed my eyes and jumped. There stood the transparent, floating souls of Dad, Fred, and Harry. They looked so sad, to see me like this. Fred spoke.

"Hey George, feel holy now?"

I smiled weakly. Always finding humor when there was none. Dad told me

"Don't let those Death Eaters get at you George. Be strong. I miss you. Bury my body so it doesn't get burned by You-Know-Who. Tell the family that I'll be watching over them."

I nodded, tearstained.

"Ginny has found the Resurrection Stone," announced Harry "she will be coming home soon, and you can plan a way to destroy Voldemort. Let Hermione in in it too. I will be seeing you soon. Don't back down."

And with that, they vanished, leaving me sad and confused on the doorstep.
