The Creed A Generations Before

{I walk through the valley and the shadow of death but fear nothing in the darkness. That is what I will go through every day in this black world of mine of the hunt. I hunt for neither side of what a person proclaims but for the one that gets me farther on in life and teach the generations after me to fallow The Creed and obey its laws and regulations like I have done. I will learn through the past generations mistakes and kill swiftly and cleanly for my marking will be pasted on forever. ]
This is the promise i had made to my new family but i want to please them forever. I know it will be tough since my brother dosn't think i should do it but it is my own bloodline i have sealed the fate of, not his. I want to take the forever pledge, I know it won't be easy espesily in the life of the creed.

3. ch 3

I could see my little cabin through the woods as another blast of lightning and thunder rang through the aria.  I started to rush through the raindrops while my older brother Camren stood at the door with a relived face while he wrapped me in his farm raised arms. Camren wasn’t much taller than me but only by a few inches since the men I guess were short in my family and the women were normal. His blue icy eyes looked onto the man’s shadow as another blast of thunder and lightning revealed that it was the same man that escorted me through the woods unharmed other than the wound I had accumulated before my escort intervened.
“Who’s out there?” Camren asked into the night as he tried to talk to the man as he made his way to our doorstep.
“Relax Cam; He is the one that saved me. This is Mr...” I trailed realizing how rude I was not getting his name.  I can feel myself blush as he calmly looked like he knew what I was trying to do.
“The name’s Orin.” He said and put out his hand and my brother shook it with cold eyes that I can see a mile away that he doesn’t trust Orin.
“Come in Orin please make yourself at home. Will you like to stay for supper?” I asked and Camren pulled me to the side for a moment after Orin entered our house and put his coat on the little post we had by the door.
“What are you doing Silva asking a guy that you know nothing about cone into our home?” he sternly asked as I undid my wet bonnet and cowl and folded them neatly in my arms but then immediately shifting them to my right.
“THIS is why I asked him in and invited him to our meal.” I said as I showed him the cut that was on my left arm that was still bleeding a little but was mostly washed out by the time I showed him. Camren’s reaction was a mix between stun and worry while he was hesitant at first to grab me but after I started to put my arm down he wasn’t hesitant then but now it looked like he didn’t want to miss the opportunity to look closer.
“What happened?” he gasped as he stared at my wound.  The cut was still read from the knifepoint and I was started to get worried while I knew he was holding my arm a little tighter than he should but I did not complain at all while I tried to explain.
“Orin saved my life because I ran into a thief. I tried to fight him off but I couldn’t till he stepped in.” I mentioned and he seemed to understand as the tenacity in his shoulders subsided a little.
“Ok he can stay but I am still keeping my eye on him.” Camren negotiated and I just went back to being a good hostess to Orin while I thought someone has to since I knew Camren would rather leave him out in the storm that sounded overhead.
“Dinner is almost ready.” I said as I placed my wet clothes on the hooks. He smiled at me as he had on a blue shirt that had gold buttons in the front and black pants that were tucked into his boots. His brownish black hair was hanging off his head in a style I didn’t expect to for a man that I saw just kill another life, long and knotted in braids that went to his shoulders in a simple Indian taught fashion a few in the front but pulled back with a piece of string in back.
“Excellent. I want to thank you for letting me into your abode but I can’t help but wonder what the discussion is about.” Orin said politely as he entered steadily and with a slight limp that I figured was from a long time of traveling on the high seas.
“Nothing, My brother didn’t understand why I was so kind to you but hopefully I straitened him out but I still encourage you to watch your step with him for safety.” I said as he stood and acted like he was getting his coat. I started to worry if he was leaving because it is a disgrace in this day and age for someone to upright and leave.
“Then I know when I am not welcome. Good evening…” He said and I cut him off in haste that he had made up his mind. I was worried that he would not want to stay and I had to come up with something that would make up his mind. I started to get nervous while my mind spun around trying to scramble something that was supposed to be convincing and womanly at the same time.
“We are still planning on having you join us for supper. It is the least we can do.” I said and he put his coat back on the hooks as a smile greased across his face to where I felt like I won his trust that or he was just that amazed at me.
“Thank you for your hospitality.” Orin said as Camren called them in for dinner. I felt relieved that he was staying as I started to fall into the chair but then Camren spotted me and I had to waved my arms in hopes of catching myself. I managed to do just that and bounced myself back up. I started to brush off my dress as if I was trying to freshen up before dinner.

“Silver are you coming?” he asked in a hateful tone to where he might as well be hissing at me almost like a snake to where I was thinking that I might want to be mediator for this meal. I got up and looked around thinking that I hoped that Camren can be nice since he was acting strangely since he usually is very nice around the town folk especially when I spot the portrait of me and him separate on the mantle. I did not realize that I had drifted into our kitchen and dining aria. I was brought back after Camren cleared his throat that brought me back to reality and the fact that we had a guest.

“Care to join us Sister?” Camren asked making me think that I had thought that I had did a horrible thing by just blending myself into my own day dream of how different an incident could be if one thing had changed for the better.

“Yes I am coming.  I am sorry that I had gotten into my own mind.” I apologized whole I sat down into my seat to start the meal. I felt like a fool to start the meal off to an awful start and I started to wonder what would go wrong but I pushed the thought aside to become an even better mediator since that Camren already seemed even more annoyed then before I had drifted off to a silly daydream.
