Just Another Ordinary Girl

Just another ordinary girl, who's life changes with one word... hello

10. Management

Twitter had exploded. Completely. My mentions were going crazy, and my followers had boosted considerably. I flicked through a bunch of my mentions finding that most of them were supportive of Louis's and I's relationship. However there were the odd horrible ones. I ignored them and put my phone down. Stretching, I rolled over, finding Louis asleep next to me, his eyes closed and his mouth slack. He looked adorable.

With a feather light touch, I smoothed his hair back from his forehead and let my hand curl around the back of his neck. I ran my thumb over his cheekbones and down to his chin. I let my fingers linger over his perfect lips. One of his eyes cracked open as his lips spread into a lopsided smile. "Morning," he said, laughing as I gasped and yanked my hand away. His hands tangled in my hair and pulled my lips to his.

"I'm sorry, you probably think I'm a creep now," I said, blushing and looking down.

"I always thought you were a creep," Louis teased.

"Back at you," I laughed. "So, my twitter just about exploded this morning."

"I thought that it would," he admitted, burying his head in my neck.

"It tickles," I giggled. His phone started ringing. He groaned, turning away from me and reaching over to the side table next to the bed that his phone was resting on, on charge.

"Hey, Harry," Louis sighed.

"Hi, Harry!" I called into the phone, moving towards Louis and resting my head on his chest.

"Hey, Jess." I heard Harry laugh on the phone.

"What do you want?" Louis asked, stroking my hair.

"When are you leaving Jess's house?" Harry asked.

"When I want to, which will probably be never. Why?" Louis asked.

"I want to hear all about your night," Harry said, putting on a silly high pitched voice. "Kidding. We have to meet with management to record our new song, remember?"

"Oh, yeah." Louis said. "What time is that again?" Louis asked.

"In about two hours," Harry said. "So you would have to leave soon."

"Okay, I'm just going to shower here and I have clothes and stuff." Louis said. "I'll see you soon."

"Bye," Harry said.

"Bye." Louis looked at me. "We have to get up now."

"Technically, only you need to get up." I teased him, pulling the covers over my head.

"Actually, no." He said, pulling the covers back and looking straight at me. "You are coming with me, to meet management."

"What?!" I said, sitting up at the speed of light. "No! What if they don't like me? I met your fans yesterday, isn't that enough? Everyone knows about is now, your fans were scary enough, I can't deal with your management too!" I begged.

"Sorry, but it's not negotiable." Louis said, smirking at me and pulling me in for a hug. "I'm sure that they will absolutely love you babe."

"Then can I take the first shower?" I mumbled into his chest. He laughed. "I'll take that as a yes." I giggled. I untangled myself from him and walked to my closet. "What do I wear?" I asked him.

"Normal clothes," he laughed. "It's management, not the queen." He teased.

"Might as well be the queen," I mumbled. "And the rest of the royal family. Including the dog."

He just laughed at me. I sighed and rolled my eyes. This outfit could determine our relationship! Okay, well not really, but still. Eventually, I picked out a long grey knitted sweater, some dark blue jeans, paired with a pair of just over the knee boots. "I'll see you just now," I said, waking into the bathroom and shutting the door.

After I had showered and washed my hair, I put on my clothes and let my wet hair hang down my back. I combed out the knots, blow dried my hair and combed it into my usual path. A few weeks earlier, I had dip-dyed the bottoms a light brown, which contrasted nicely with my light blonde. I put on some eyeliner and mascara and slipped on my boots before walking out of the bathroom. "You look great," Louis said, looking at me.

"Thanks," I smiled. "Now go shower, we have to leave soon." I waved him into the bathroom.

"Yes, mam." He obediently walked into the bathroom and a few minutes later, I heard the shower start. I put my stuff into a leather studded shoulder bag and grabbed my phone off of the table where it was charging. A few minutes later, Louis walked out of the bathroom, his wet hair half dry already and perfectly messed. "Ready?" He asked me. He was wearing a pair of light blue jeans with a grey shirt and his shoes from yesterday.

"Yup," I said, popping the p. I took one last look at myself in the mirror. I had my earrings in and I had left my other earring at the top of my right ear in as well. "Do you really think they will like me?" I asked.

"Don't worry, I'm sure they will." Louis said, kissing my cheek. "Let's go." He took my hand and intertwined our fingers and lead me out the door.

We got into the car and before we left, he leaned over and kissed me hard, before turning around and driving away from my flat.

We met the rest of the boys at the studio. "Hey," they all chorused. I hugged each of them, before turning back to Louis and standing beside him, taking his hand. "Okay, let's do this." I said, as all the boys turned towards the studio and walked away.

We walked into the big building and the receptionist told us that the producers were waiting in Room 4. We took the elevator up and walked into a large boardroom, where there were several serious looking men sitting around a large table. "Boys," the man at the head of the table greeted them.

"Hi," Harry said, the rest of the boys calling out their various greetings after him.

"And who is this?" The man said, gesturing towards me.

"Hi, I'm Jess." I said simply.

"She's my girlfriend," Louis clarified. The man laughed. "Something funny?" Louis asked.

"You can't date her," the man roared with laughter.

Louis's lips pressed into a hard line. "And why not?" Louis asked. My heart sank. I knew this would happen.

"Louis," said the man, standing up and walking towards us. "You are supposed to be the lighthearted, funny one. This," he gestured to me. "No offense sweetheart, but this whole dyed and pierced thing she has going on, doesn't fit your image."

"My image?" Louis spat. "You mean the image you created of me?"

"The very one." The man replied.

"Well you an your image can just go away," he said, in a few other words with some choiced adjectives in between.

"Louis," I said quietly, "it's okay." I said, putting a hand on his arm.

"No, it's not." Louis said angrily. "It's really not. We're leaving, give me a call when you stop being such jackasses." He said, angrily waking out and dragging me behind him.
