1. Hi, I'm Anna!

"Hi, my name is Annabella Coure. And I am from Italy," I said.

"I Annabelle," the class said tired.

"It is very nice to meet you Annabelle. Why don't you have sest witj John-"

"Jake! Please. I know him," I smiled.

A little emberassed for interupting her.

"Uh, okay. Fine. Tou can sit with Jake."

"Thank you," I smiled.

I walked towards Jake.

He was smirking.

"Well hello there beautiful," he said as I sat down next to him.

"And hello to you handsome," I smiled.

"Ah, Anna. I've missed you a lot."

"I've missed you too. A lot. Italy isn't the same without you. It's boring."

"Bitch, please. Everything is boring without me."

"Asshole," I mumbled.

He smirked. "You know. That's what I missed the most. You always calling me an asshole."

"And tou calling me bitch is something I didn't miss."

"Too bad for you."

"No talking!" The teacher said.

I smiled. Teachers. Always shouting.

I looked at Jake. God, I've missed him so much. That face is the first thing I think of when I wake up, and the last thing I think of when I fall asleep. I love my bestfriend, Jake more than anything! He's like the brother I never had. Oh god. Brother. Family. Fire.

My family is the one thing I can't have back. While I was out in the garden playing with the grass, the house just started burning. Mom and dad were too busy trying to find little Sierra, so none of them made it out. I were six years old so when I think about it now it's a little blurry. Sierra was six years, too. My sister. Bestefriend. My twin. Yeah, Sierra was my twin. We looked exactly like. Except that I had ong hair and she short. Because she cut it. Oh, I miss them. Now my uncle Alec is the one caring for me. I'm so glad he decided to move here. I think the only reason was because he saw hos sad I were without Jake. So he wanted to make me bappy. And it worked. I've never smiled like this I can't even remember it.

"Anna. Don't look, but those boys are staring at you," Jake whispered in my ear.

I turned around and looked. He was right. Three boys were staring at me. Ew, that's gross.

"Damn, you know I hate being stared at," I whispered back in his ear.

Was that a smirk? Ah, yes it was. I couldn't believe it! He's such an asshole!

But I love him.

The schoolbell finally rang and everyone got up from theyre chairs.

"Don't forget to read page 345-358!" The teacher shouted.

I was waiting for Jake. He was drawing something on his book. A dragon. It was pretty. Jake is a master in drawing.

One of the boys behind us smiled to me before running out of the room.

"Get up. Time for lunch. I'm starving!" I said.

"Just a second!"

I watched him getting done with the eye of the dragon.

"I still can't believe how incredeble you're at drawing," I smiled.

"Thank you, mate. Before we get food, I want you to meet my friends."

"You have other friends?" I asked.

"Anna, I've been here in three years and you expect me to have no friends? Everbody wanna be my friend. Look at me! I'm handsome," he smiled.

"Yeah you are handsome. Even though you use glasses."

I looked at Jake. He was perfect. He was so high. Much higher than me. And he had muscels. Not too big. He had sharp - but sweet - blue eyes. And he had dark brown hair. Today he was wearing blue pants and a black sweather.

I was wearing a tight T-shirt. Black, of course. And tight, dark blue jeans.

As we walked into the cafeteria I saw a boy standing outside the window. He was looking at me. He was wearing a black hoodie. He had green eyes. And in his hand he had something. I couldn't see exactly what cause the sun reflection was so bright.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"They guy outside. Why is he just standing there in the rain. And worst of all, I'm starting feel that he's staring at me."

"Anna, I can't see anyone," Jake said. "Come on. My friends are right there."

He dragged me towards his friends. They were four. To boys and two girls. One of the girls had red hair, the other one was light blonde. The boys were cute. They both had light hair. And all of them smiled.

"Yo Jake. Who's the shy one?" one of the boys asked.

"Shy?" Jake said.

Then he noticed I was standing behind.

"Come on, kitty. We don't bite," the other boy said. I already didn't like them. Shy? Kitty?

Jake sat fown next to the redhaired girl. And since there wasn't place for me tjere I had too sit witgh the boys. I tried to sit as long away from them as posibble, but it wasn't easy. The boy next to me was doing something with my hair, and it was verh irritating. Stay calm. Don't explode.

"You have beautiful hair," he sid.

"Thank you," I said with a hint of bitterness in my voice.

"Guys, this is Annabelle. She's my bestfriend from Italy," Jake said. "Be nice to her. Seth, let go of her hair."

Thank you so much, Jake. I almost exploded. How could Jake be friends with these guys. The boys were weird.

"Annabella is a lovely name," the other lne said.

"Thank you," I repeated.

"Wow, that's so cool Anna. Did you know Jake's from Italy too?" The redhaired girl said.

"Yeah. He's my bestfriend."

"Are you sure? Cause Jake only have one bestfriend, and she lives in Italy," she said.

Her voice was very light.

"Yeah. I'm that girl. I moved from Italy!"

"Awesome! Then you might get well along witj Jake, he's also from Italy."

"I know," I said irritated. This girl was seriously desturbed.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, the hoodieboy stood kn front of our table. This time with another guy. The other guy didn't have a hoodie. The lne without hoodie pointed at me.

"That one is weird," he said.

"Excuse me?" I said.

The guy looked at me. "What did you say?"

"I said excuse me. It's not nice to point at people and tell them they're weird!" I sid angry.

Could this get any more worse?

Poof, they were gone.

"I also talk to myaelf a lot. Yay, I'm not alone!" The dumb girl cheered.

Talk to myself? Was I starting to see things?
