"Are you ok?" a voice that I'd never heard before said. I opened my eyes to see who it was and got a slight shock.


"Sorry if I woke you up. I thought it was a bit weird that you were sleeping in front of your house. I'm Luke from the bottom of the street." 'Fred' said as he put his hand out to help me up. I dusted myself off and explained what had happened. "Oh, I see but what actually happened between you and Conor way back when?" Luke asked as we waited for my Mum. 

"I don't know. We were best friends when he still lived in Brighton but he started ditching me and when I did hang out with him he always had some of his mates with him so I was like a third wheel. It was like that until one day we arranged to meet up just us two and he never turned up. He text me saying 'Sorry I couldn't make it. Please let me explain when I'm back.' and that was it until today." I explained as a easily recognizable car pulled up in front of my house, my Mum got out of the car demanding an explanation of everything that happened.


That night I was sat in my loft bedroom revising for my upcoming Spanish exam when I heard a noise like something hitting my window. After 5 minutes it was really bugging me so I had to find out what it was. I opened the window and felt something hit me full on my forehead.

"Sorry! I didn't see that you'd opened the window." I heard a quiet voice shout. I peered further over the window sill to see who it was. 

"Conor what are you doing here?" I shouted kind of annoyed that he just hit me with what I think was a stone. "In fact wait there!" I added before grabbing my dunks and running out to meet him. "Why are you at my house?" I snapped at Conor.

"You left your phone at mine and I thought I owed you an explanation as to why I left without any warning." he answered remaining calm. I ran off and down to our old secret hide out, Conor soon caught on and followed shortly behind. "Can.We. Please.Stop.Running!" Conor panted after struggling to catch up. "Right now can I explain?" he asked not waiting for my response before continuing. "I didn't want to leave but...
