13. New Project

“I swear Adam.” I said laughing as we cleaned up the mess we had made at my office. “I thought I was going to hate you the first day I met you.”

“I was going to win over your heart eventually.” Adam laughed and I smacked his arm. “Let’s hurry up so that we can go skate.”

“Sure pal.” I said.

It has been one month since I came to London for my new life. Everything had been better, at least that’s what I thought, everything here is way better than back home.

Adam and I were cleaning all the pieces we didn’t need, after we made the new pistol my dad was trying to make, he had extra pieces, and I thought I could make something with it, but I’ll had to study the pieces later and find out what I could create.

“Mr. Right.” Adam said as I closed the last box.

“Adam.” Mr. Right said. “Phyre.”

“Sir.” I answered. “May I help you?”

“Yes.” Mr. Right replied and I nodded. “The board is looking for a new project, and I’m sure that I can count on you building one that wasn’t already on the your fathers plan.”

“Yeah sure.” I replied. “How much time do I have?”

“Two days.” Mr. Right replied.

Two days? It was Friday, that meant that the project had to be turned in on Monday. I turned to face Adam, and he had the expression I thought he was going to have.

“Monday first thing in the morning?” I questioned.

“Yes.” Mr. Right replied and walked away.

“Is it enough time?” Adam questioned.

“It’s more than enough.” I replied. “Open the boxes of the left over, let’s order some pizza, get some coffee, and let’s get started.”

“What are we going to do?” Adam asked.

“I have no idea.” I replied.

It was three in the morning and I was staring at the strange object in front of my eyes. Adam was on a corner snoring, and I didn’t want to wake him up. I looked at the trophy we had created, this was certainly something no one would have ever thought of.

I pressed the white button and it turned on, scanning the room, the image was quickly sent to my phone, and it detailed everything inside the room. Adam’s body was on the corner, the security cameras, every single pencil inside the drawer, everything.

I smiled at the object and turned it off, now, the only thing that we had to do, was to make it small so that it would go unnoticed. I sighed slumping back on my chair.

I needed some sleep.

“Phyre.” Adam said.

“What?” I questioned rubbing my eyes.

“Does it works?” Adam questioned.

“Yes.” I replied. “I fixed it around one, when you feel asleep.”

“Oh.” Adam replied. “Now what?”

“We make it smaller.” I smirked. “Are you ready?”

“Oh hell I am!” Adam said highfiving me.
