4. Greetings

"Of course you know Niall," Kam said, steering me in front of the blonde haired boy.

"Yes of course, I've met you twice already," I said with a smile, extending my hand for him to shake, which he did with a confused expression on his face.

"This is Zayn," Kam continued, motioning to the boy with the large amount of facial scruff.

"Nice to meet you," he said, shaking my hand as well.

"What's funny," said the boy, who I remembered as Liam from Kam's screaming. "Is that girls don't usually shake our hands."

I stopped, retracting my hand from his grasp. "Have I done something wrong? Is that my how you introduce each other from where your from?" My eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. I thought hand shaking was universal?

"No," the next boy laughed as Kam whispered that he was Louis. "It is, but most girls just throw themselves at us and wrap their arms around our necks, refusing to let go!"

I laughed along with everyone else at Louis joke, shaking his hand in the process, my dizziness completely forgotten.

The last one was the boy with the brown head of curly hair and startling green eyes, who had been staring at me when I had waken up.

"And you must be Harry," I said, extending my hand.

The smile on his face was genuine and grew with my words. "And you're Courtney." He spoke gently, shaking my hand. Once again, I wished he could just continue talking. His voice was so perfect.

I didn't realise we had been shaking hands and smiling at each other for a long time until Kam cleared her throat.

Startled, my hand shot back and my cheeks began to heat up as a blush formed.

"We'll thank you very much for your kind hospitality, but it is late and we should be getting back. We still need to figure out our flying arrangements."

"Are you sure you'll be alright?" Harry said, his voice concerned.

I looked at him again and wondered why when he asked that, an odd sensation erupted in my stomach. He was concerned for me, this I knew for sure, but what I wasn't sure was what for?

"What Harry is trying to say," Louis offered, "Is that our fans matter a lot of us and we want to know that you'll be alright once you leave."

I smiled at them and once again heard Kam swooning and sighing at their words. I nodded my head. "We will be fine. Our hotel isn't far away and it is late. Thank you all for your help in taking care of my sister and myself. It has been very much appreciated."

As we began saying goodbye Kam became teary eyed. She posed for plenty of photos, the guys signing anything she could get her hands on. They eventually summoned someone who ran to get a merch shirt for her, to which they all began to sign.

As I stood watching, sneaking glances at my phone, Harry pulled me aside.

"I'd like to stay in touch," he said, smirking at my dumbfounded expression

"I'm not sure what you mean," my voice betrayed my nervousness at the situation.

Harry sighed. "You fainted onstage and I just want to make sure you'll be alright in the future." His green eyes bored into mine and my breathe quickened.

"Alright," I said, my breathe coming out in a sigh.

As he typed his number into my phone, I could see the happiness fading off of him. He seemed genuinely excited about talking to me and knowing I was alright, but the question was why?

Harry suddenly looked at me, then pulled me towards him, holding the phone up to take a picture of us together. I was so confused by the quickness and also the closeness of him, that when he showed me the picture, he was smiling while I stared at him with a look of wonder and intrigue. Our bodies were so close together and the thought afterward made me blush.

"Now when I call or text, you'll see me and say, 'Oh great, it's that bloke from One Direction."

I smiled at his humour, quickly typing in all my information, leaving out my last name. For good measured I took an unsuspecting photo of him and set it as my caller picture, before giving the phone back to him.

He looked at me frowning. "I don't get a picture of you? What if I forget what you look like?"

I could feel myself frowning. He had a good point. I had taken a picture with him and now he wanted the same. With a quiver of nervousness, I nodded my head, a blush heating my cheeks.

As he snapped the picture, I have the camera phone a small smile.

"Harry, would you mind signing my shirt?" Kam asked, approaching us wearily. I was so caught up in Harry that I hadn't even heard her approach.

"Sure!" He said happily, grabbing the shirt as signing underneath his face, like the other boys had done. He gave her a smile, posing for a photo with her as well.

As I was pushing Kameron out the door at nearly 1 AM, Harry caught my attention once more.

He gave me a quick wave and a sultry smile before he was our of sight.

Not but 5 steps away from the door, my phone started buzzing again, showing Harry's picture of us.

"This is Courtney, right?"

"What we're the words you used? The bloke from One Direction is calling me?" At my words Kam's head shot up and her mouth dropped open.

"I had to make sure this was actually your number before you left the building. Now, what did you think of the concert?"
