Luck & Love {A Harry Syles Fan Fiction}

Courtney is dragged to a concert by her younger sister and by fate meets Harry. She doesn't know him and doesn't listen to his music but he enjoys her company and witty remarks. When she goes to visit her mum in London, he can't help but want to go home every chance he gets. Harry charms her in every way but she can't help thinking of her old flame, Elijah, and the broken heart that came along with it.

8. Goodbye's Better Not Be Forever - Him

Courtney was an amazing creature. She delighted me in ways that I could never have expected. As she sat next to me on the plane, gazing out the window as she quietly chatted about her family and home life, I couldn't help but become amazed.

Her coppery hair was indeed fiery, but was help tight atop her head in a messy bun. Her eyes were alight with delight at the thought of seeing her mother again. She did in fact have a nose ring, but the gold hoop blended with her skin so nicely that I hadn't noticed it before. Courtney was now wearing a pair of black glasses, making her look like someone who would pop open a comic book.

I had not remembered her wearing them to the concert as she had explained that her glasses were not necessary to wear all the time. Her vision was fine, although unclear sometimes. She wore them to focus at school and was supposed to wear them everyday.

She adored drinking chocolate milk, declaring it her favourite drink. She hated apples but loved blackberries.

She explained how she was finished her senior year at school and how her father wanted her to sign up for the school musical to try and get over her stage fright.

Courtney and Kameron attended a private school for boys and girls but insisted she didn't have to wear a uniform. She said that they both left early as took the subway to and from school. When I told we I'd only taken the metro in London before, she assured me New York was much worse.

She had a couple close friends of whom she thought highly of and explained that they were all headed to the Bahamas for Christmas. Courtney admitted that she had gone with them last Christmas but had missed her mum too much to go this year.

She adored any movie with Audrey Hepburn but told me that she said she had never seen Titanic. When I questioned why, she said that her friend had told her it was horrible so she just never watched it. This made me want her to see it all the more.

Courtney loved sleeping in but hated going to bed late. She admitted to being a heavy sleeper that could sleep through anything, including defining thunder storms.

And for all the things I learned, I somehow felt like they weren't enough. Time with her seemed to quicken and I realised I didn't have enough of it.

As I watched her walk off the plane beside an ecstatic looking Kameron, I knew one thing: I wanted to see her again.

I needed to see her again.
