2. Surviving

It had been two days since Cara's death and Dalia was getting sick of taking the blame. As she rubbed her cracked and painfully saw ankles Savannah, I beautiful young girl in Dalia's class, walked past and pushed dal off the bench in the changing room. "Ow that hurt," Dal said tears in her perfect emerald green eyes. "Aw did that hurt Dal," Savannah said menacingly, "well I bet it didn't hurt as much as when you killed Cara eh."

Dal looked at her ,why was everyone saying that, Dalia thought and in fact she was true if they had been there they would know it wasn't Dal's fault. Dal shrugged and headed to English.

All through English Dal couldn't concentrate because the boys behind where talking about Dal and how she had murdered Cara. Dal had knew this would happen, Cara was the most popular girl in school so naturally the girls would be sad. Then Cara was also the girl all the boys wanted as there girl friend so they were sad to. So who did all this anger come back to the one other person who was there that had survived, Dalia.

At the end of English Miss Watson asked to speak to Dal. "I'm not happy with your effort in class today," Miss Watson said tersely, "so tomorrow you will stay behind after school to redo your work." she smiled and dismissed Dal rapidly.

"Great," Dal muttered to herself on the way home, "now the teachers are picking on we as well." As Dal walked back home she had the feeling that she was being watched by someone but every time she turned there was no one there.

As she reached her magnificent four story house the next door neighbour that old man Mr Wright came out of his ramshackle house and smiled when he saw Dal. "I was there you know," he said staring at Dal persistently, "don't listen to the kids at school you didn't kill Cara that idiot driver did."

Dal took a step back ,how did he know about that, she thought "er thanks I guess," Dal said and she rushed off home.

Dal still felt like she was being watched as she ran up to her room and finally burst into tears. "Oh Cara they are all right aren't they I killed you," Dal sobbed, "oh I'm so sorry it's all my fault isn't it it's all my fault." Just then she got the feeling of someone touching her arm as if some invisible being was patting her arm. She screamed and then started crying again.

"Dalia, Dalia!" her mum cried up the stairs, "it sounds like you saw a ghost." Dalia calmed down long enough to talk, "I'm fine I just felt something funny that's all its alright."

Dalia went to sleep shortly after but she couldn't shake the feeling that something or someone had touched her arm.
