161. Pop Princess and Simon Cowell

A/N: Really sorry guys; I've been hella busy this week with having to go back to school for a day and co-planning my bestfriend's suprise party, but hey, I'll do a few chapters tonight just to make up for it :) The weather is gorgeous in London at the moment and the only people who have broken up from school completely across the country is everybody in my year! Its so nice to just walk around with no one to bother you :) hehe, hope all of you have had a nice week. Keep reading! Nialls_Tribute xo

"So how's the album coming along?" Meg asks with a freckled grin.

"Oh, I don't hear much about the boys’ albums and music..." I'm not really supposed to say anything either.

"No..." Laura smiles at me like I'm missing the point. "Your album! How's it going?"

I choke on air and Carla starts laughing beside me. "My... my album?"

"What album?" My eyes bulge as Meg gets up to go and get the magazine from the receptionist. She comes back and places the double spread down on my lap softly, going straight back to painting my toe nails.

On the pink and white decorated spread there are a few paparazzi pictures of myself in my beanie and sunglasses. The first one I recognise from the day I went Christmas shopping with Niall. I'm clinging onto his arm, but apart from that and his worried expression you can't really tell that I'm experiencing the worst pain in my life. The second one is from Brighton last night, where I am holding Niall's hand again. But the third one is when the cameras managed to catch my by myself, weirdly enough cropping Niall and the other two out of the picture from beside me. I've only ever seen photos of myself when with at least one of the boys -never by myself. This is bizarre.

The caption reads ‘Pop princess predicted to already have first debut album in the pipe line.’

"How many p's did they need to use?" Carla laughs, leaning over to read it for herself.

‘Rosie Stephens has been the topic of many teenage girls' conversations, but now she has been spoken of in the music business. Last week we were lucky enough to interview the very intimidating Simon Cowell on the close approaching birth of his first son, however we also managed to sneak in a question or two about the future of Niall's very own pop princess, Rosie Stephens.

"So tell us Cowell. Have you got anything in store for us from Niall's girlfriend? There are quite a few rumours about a future album and we would just love it if you could clear them up for us."

"I can't really tell you anything. But from what I've heard from the boys she's a very talented singer. They've been telling me for a few months that I need to sign her up before anybody else does. I've not spoken to Niall about it though. I'm guessing she will want to concentrate on other things like school at the moment, and I would advise her to do so too. The music business is unpredictable."

"So can you tell us whether you have or have not snapped her up, as of yet?"

Simon then gave us a cheeky grin. "Well that would be telling wouldn't it?"

So from our predictions and that famous cheeky grin of Simon’s, we can guess that Rosie has already been signed and is spending her cosy time away from the limelight planning a new album with her boyfriend to make sure that it's absolutely perfect for release.

A gorgeous 1D boyfriend, a shiny new record deal and a brand new album to be released very soon. I don't think we could be more jealous.’

"Simon Cowell complimented you!"

"Jesus..." I wonder if Niall has seen this. "Well sorry to disappoint ladies but there's no album just yet." They both smile with a hint of disappointment which makes my heart flutter with pride. "Do you mind if I take this though?"

"Of course, just be sure to pop in every once in a while and keep us updated."

"We will. And we'll be sure to bring the baby too, won't we Rosie?"

"Obviously." I smile.

After they've finished painting our nails and we've run out of things to talk about, I pay for both of our bills on my card and suggest that we go to Starbucks. I get an iced coffee frappe -despite the icy weather that waits for us outside of Croydon Whitgift Centre- whilst Carla goes for a warm milky tea with lots of cream, saying that the she hasn't been able to handle the taste of coffee since Squidge started growing really big.

We sit there talking for a little while, examining each other's fingernails and letting our imaginations run wild over the future of the next few years, until eventually we decide it's time to go. We stop at a nearby supermarket on the way home to buy lots of strawberry yoghurt, papaya and peanuts -Carla's cravings- before finally heading back to the house. We haven't done it in a while, but Carla and I used to find the time to come out and do girly things like this before. It usually happened whenever there was a football match on TV that Justin couldn't bear to miss, so we'd pop out to do some shopping or go out for something to eat.

We haven't done it in a while, but it feels nice to know that nothing's changed between us.
