3. Blue Eyes

"Right, in you go! There's a mini bar inside selling all types of drinks but of course you know that unless you have ID you'll be drinking fizzy drinks I'm afraid." The security guard chuckled "The toilets are on the right as you go in and you can stand wherever you want, just be good and have a fun night girls!" I thank him and give monkey's hand a tight squeeze before we step through the door.

The support band's music is blaring and it honestly seems quite catchy, but Lola was pulling me towards the toilets. "I don't want to miss any of the concert." she explained before letting go of my hand and rushing into the room that held a symbol of a woman on it.

I stand back against the opposite wall and get my phone out whilst waiting for Lola to return.

'Just got to the club. It's amazing here. Worthy of a night out clubbing hopefully ;) musics loud but no screaming girls yet luckily! I didn't realise how little people are here -feels almost empty xx'

I press send just as Lola comes rushing out. "Can we get drinks before the show starts?"

"Yeah sure what do you want?"

"Can I have a mango and passion fruit J2O please?" She is beaming and I can tell how excited she is. Lola hadn't stopped talking about today since she first heard about the competition.

"Sure honey, come with me then." I take her hand and head to the long bar down one whole side of the club. I know I treat her like a baby, but to be fair she is my baby sister and I can tell that she enjoys being the little, innocent one in our family so I'm going to make the most of her youth before she grows out of it.

"Guess what I've got?" I wink at her -showing the fake ID that Miles (Rachel's boyfriend) got for me. She giggles at me mischeviously.

I shout over the music to the bar attendant and order a J2O for monkey and a vodka coke for myself. I'm only just getting the hang of this drinking thing, but I'm determined to make the most of tonight and I know that this is the only alcoholic drink I would have all evening. I want to be clear headed as Lola's legal guardian for the night.

Lola is watching me as I take a sip of my drink, so I smile at her in anticipation and we run towards the front of the crowd like little girls -cheering as the support act says their 'thank you's.

We manage to make our way right to the front -by the metal fences- and Lola is elated as she jumps up and down screaming for One Direction with the rest of the crowd behind us. I wanted to roll my eyes out of old habit, but instead I found myself letting out a scream of excitement! Maybe the atmosphere is just getting to me.

I turn around and surveyed the club. It was just then that I realised how pretty the club was.

Hanging from the ceiling are hundreds of little spherical lights, all different colours and dropping at different heights. How beautiful, I thought to myself. I also noticed how much the club had grown. Although the crowd is still smaller than I had first expected, it has nearly doubled in size since we arrived.

Rachel was right. So many girls would kill to take my place here in this beautiful club -especially as their biggest idols are about to perform songs to this small crowd, in a much more intimate and personal way than their other concerts.

As soon as I turn back, me and my sister catch each others eyes; smiling as wide as possible at each other. What I hadn't realised was that there was already a new band on stage and they were currently performing the music from the One Direction album that I had been playing earlier. "It's gotta be you!" Lola said in my ear confirming what I had previously thought. I nodded in reply -the screaming too loud to talk over.

Somebody walked onto the stage (the club manager perhaps?). He said something about how lucky we all are to be here today and how lucky he felt to be hosting this event, when he welcomes them onto the stage and leaves quickly; obviously finding it hard not to show his excitement. Lola looks ready to burst beside me.

"Hello London Koko!" One voice says. It was the excitable one that's name is confirmed when everyone shouts "LOUIS!" He's just walked onto the stage when the maturer looking one comes on.

"How is everybody tonight?"

The other three walk in at the same time and the place erupts.

"Hi guys!"

The names being called are now in-audible, but next to me, Monkey is jumping up and down screaming Zayn’s name until she sounds hysterical. The boys all laugh at the crowd’s reaction and I can't help but laugh with them.

"Well first of all, we just wanted to congratulate everyone here in this room."

"Only 75 of you made it here today!"

"Lucky you!" The blonde one with the deep Irish accent laughed out. I can't help but notice the dimple that he has. It's on the exact same cheek as mine.

The whole crowd, including me and Lola, are pushed as close to the stage as possible now. Whilst others are holding their arms out hoping for a touch, I'm just trying my best to support myself on the fence with my arms. I smile at the effect they have on the crowd.

They've started the music by now and they've gone through a few catchy songs before one in particular caught my attention. I'm enjoying the show, and no matter how small a fan I am, I can’t deny that they are all very talented and beautiful boys. The particular song that catches my attention has a beautiful melody that I could sing to all day; it's their new one called 'story of my life'. The lyrics are gorgeous and the way they act and sing it seems so genuine.

As I look over at Lola, I see that she looks as if she's just died and gone to heaven. I'm about to start a giggling fit when I hear the blonde one start singing his beautiful verse. I'm smiling about the whole situation I have found myself in, and the fact that I had actually started to like these boys, when I look up from under my lashes to find the most beautiful pair of blue eyes. What is so special about him, I cannot explain, but what was significant? He is staring straight at me from across the stage where he sings.

Suddenly I understand. I understand that I no longer have a choice. He is looking at me. I am looking at him. I no longer have a choice because the eyes have captured me. I am falling under the spell of the blue eyed, Irish boy's song. The song that he is singing to me.
