Like Crazy

Everyone thinks Julia Parker is perfect, but she is nothing close.
She is soon to be facing an arranged Marriage to her dad's close friends son, Harry Styles, though Julia wants nothing to do with him.
But, through Harry she meets Niall who she falls head over heals in love with.
They begin doing things behind Harry's back, and when he finds out, they devise a plan.
But with the wedding coming up, Julia is worried there won't be a way out.
But she can't marry Harry.
Because of Niall.
She needs him, she wants him, she loves him, like crazy.

37. Zayn...

The ride home with Harry was surprisingly enjoyable.
We talked and laughed, and found out we have a surprisingly similar taste in music.
It was a beautiful August day in New York and for that two hours I could just relax and forget.
Who was I kidding. I never forgot.
"Thanks for inviting me, Harry." I smiled, as he handed me my bag from his trunk.
"No problem, glad you and lover boy made up." He winked.
I smirked, hugging him.
"Bye Julia,"
"Bye Harold." I sighed, lifting up my suitcase and walking inside.
It had been a good trip.
"Julia!" My mother called.
I groaned inwardly before descending the stairs.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Are you aware that your wedding is in three days?" She smiled, ear to ear.
"Oh I'm aware." She murmured.
"Don't tell me that you are still upset about this," she said. "No, no it's .. Whatever. Did you need something?" I asked, wanting nothing more than for this conversation to end. "Tomorrow is your wedding shower and you have your final dress fitting." She said.
" I never remember choosing a dress.. And isn't it a little late for a bridal shower?" I asked.
"Destiny and I picked your dress, and it's never too late. The WHOLE family must meet Harry before the wedding. You don't want to be tacky." She informed me.
I sighed.
"Why didn't you let me pick out my dress?" I asked her.
"Julia, dear, there is no way you would have picked out something respectable, and you've been gone an awful lot lately. You should thank me, it's been a lot of work planning YOUR wedding," she said, exhausted.
"You know what, whatever. You're the one who forced me to get married before I was barely 18, before I could go to college, planned every.little.detail. Of it, and now acting like I owe you? Fuck you." I spat harshly, running up to my room.
I slammed my door as the tears fell.
I decided to call Niall, because he was one of the only people I had now.
~The Next Day~
My mother woke me up early to prepare for the bridal shower at eleven.
Destiny was here, but she hasn't said anything to me yet.
I didn't understand why she was upset about Lilly and Zayn, but I didn't have time to worry about it.
"Destiny is going to do your makeup, and I am going to grab your dress from the dry cleaners okay?" My mother said. I nodded, smiling at her as she left.
Destiny walked in awkwardly some time later. She didn't say so much as a word as she began opening boxes and priming my face.
"Destiny.." I sighed.
"Save it. I'm sorry. I was stupid. Zayn is a jerk, I should have just listened to you." She responded.
I smiled.
"What was the date like?"
"Lame. He just seemed really distracted the whole time. Like he was thinking about someone else... I don't care," she shrugged.
I was glad to hear nothing was happening between them, because I really didn't like that Zayn guy.
Destiny finished quickly, and it ended up looking really good. I thanked her before walking downstairs into the kitchen. "Hey!" I smiled, when I saw Lilly standing near the fridge.
"Hi," she groaned.
"What's wrong?"
"I think it's the baby... I've been feeling terrible all week." She informed me.
"Oh no.. Have you told your mom yet?" I asked.
"I think I'm going to have to.. I need to see a doctor." She said, leaning back on the counter.
"Can I get you anything?" I asked quickly.
"No... I'm fine. Hey, would you mind if I... Brought someone to the shower? You're going to be busy and I'm not going to know anyone." She asked.
"Sure. I doubt my mom will notice with the six billion other people she invited,"
She smiled, "see you this afternoon then?"
The shower was exactly how I imagined it would be.
Harry and I walked around together holding hands, kissing every so often, and being congratulated by people on the engagement blah, blah.
The whole thing was terribly boring.
"I'm going to grab something to drink," I told Harry. He nodded, kissing me on the cheek before he left.
I made my way into the kitchen, being stopped several times on the way.
As I was pouring my drink I looked up to see Lilly walk though the front door.
With Zayn.
Okay, didn't see that coming.
I quickly put my drink down, finding Destiny close by.
"Zayn is here," I whispered.
She looked shocked, "You invited him?"
"I told Lilly she could bring someone ... I didn't think it would be him!" I said anxiously.
"He needs to leave.." Destiny said.
"I know.." I responded.
"Stay here just.. Don't talk to him okay?" I told her.
She nodded and I left the room.
I quickly found Lilly and drug her away from a
confused Zayn.
"The hell?" She asked.
"WHY DID YOU BRING HIM?" I scream whispered, once we were far enough away from everyone.
"You said I could?" She asked, rubbing the arm I harshly pulled.
"The guy who refused to accept your pregnancy is the person you decide to bring?" I asked.
"Listen stuff happened. Okay?" She asked.
"Not okay! Lilly he is a bad person." I told her.
"And you would know that?" She fought back.
"Lilly.." I began again.
She left the room before I could answer.
This day could not get worse.
