Upon Your Fears.

Meeting her was a whole new feeling. Meeting her was upon his fears.

9. Nine

Thalassa's P.O.V.

"Thali, you know I don't like it when your brother walks home alone!" She sighed, looking at me pleadingly. "I know you aren't on the best terms right now, but please go and get him!"
"Mom, he's probably on his way!" I tried to change her mind.
"Then meet him half way." She raised her eyebrows.

Murmuring words I knew she wouldn't quite catch, I slipped my neon green running shoes on. I was wearing one of those tight, polyester, long sleeve shirt that happened to be black along with a pair of pale grey yoga shorts. My hair was up in a bun and I was wearing my big ass glasses that I needed to see properly. In other words, I looked awful.

I trudged one the sidewalk, kicking random rocks. I noticed that I was near school but no sign of my brother, don't tell me he took another way home and I walked all the way here for nothing, that'd be great.

I had to pick up the car anyways... did I bring the keys? I stuffed my hand in my pocket, hearing a jiggling noise. It seemed like it. I pulled them out, walking in the parking lot. Don't those teens want to go home, they seem to like the parking lot quite a lot.

I walked towards the car, noticing something unusual about the paint. My mouth fell agape as I noticed the spray paint on the side of the car. My eyebrows immediately furrowed as I noticed the tag... it was the one Justin did in my dream. So he had it too. But still! That dumb ass!

I took a further look to it. My mother was going to be so mad, this car didn't exactly cost pennies, more like thousands. It is a Mustang after all. I felt like blowing up again and screaming profanities at him, but I took in a deep breath and decided otherwise.

I didn't see Sam in the parking lot, so I walked into school, remembering what it felt like to be in High School. Oh Lord, the memories. I searched through the hallways, but stopped once I heard the annoying voice I recognized as the Principal's.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Bieber, but if you don't get your grades up by the end of semester, I'm afraid you'll have to start your senior year all over again."

Ah, loser. I pretended to be looking somewhere else as he walked out but couldn't help the slight laugh escaping my lips. I'm so rude, gosh. He did deserve my rudeness though, but I still couldn't help the fact I did.

"What's so funny?" He spat, his gaze turned cold.
"Nothing." I smirked. "But, I'd like to know where you locked my brother up."
"I have no reason to tell you." He gritted through his teeth.
"Fine, I can make you a deal?" I asked hopefully, not believing what I was about to say myself.
"Yeah, nothing can really change my mind." He chuckled harshly.
"I tutor you for finals, you stop annoying my brother." I stated proudly, raising my eyebrows at him.
"Why would I need you?" He scrunched his nose up in disgust.
"Right, never mind." I stated. "You can have fun by yourself."

I turned around, noticing Sam at the end of the hallway. Finally, it was about time. My pace didn't increase though, I was a bit too lazy for that. I was almost by his side when the devil's voice stopped me from going any further.

"Wait!" He called after me, sighing to himself as he scratched the back of his neck. "When do we start?"
"Come over tomorrow at four." I told him. "I'm sure you know where we live from the countless times you've harassed my brother."

Maybe I should've shut up if I saw Sam coming, but of course, I had to open my big ass mouth and propose the unthinkable. Way to go, Thali. I frowned without knowing as I walked further into the hall and out.

"Thali?" Sam asked quietly.
"Uh?" I snapped out of my thoughts, looking at him.
"I'm sorry." He whispered. "I shouldn't have freaked out, I know you were only trying to help."
"It's fine, Sam." I nodded, walking towards our messed up car.

I brushed the car seat, trying to make most of the left glass pieces go away. I sat down slowly, trying to figure out if a piece of glass would stick up my ass, which thankfully didn't happen. I started the engine as Sam, sat down and drove home.

I felt embarrassed to be driving around with Justin's name on my mother's car. It seemed like I was some obsessive girlfriend or something. I almost burst into laughter as I realized what I was thinking about.

Justin's girlfriend? Never.

De todos modos...
