Molly walked into her small new house, her mind practically exploding with this catastrophic tornado of all her thoughts. Abby? Jamie? Is it? Could it truly have been Abby out of the notebook? Stamping up the stairs without giving any form of hello to her Dad. Flinging the door to her room open she flung herself towards the diminutive red notebook lying silently on her desk. It almost shocked Molly, how such a small object could hold so many secrets and treasures. How it could cause such confusion and mystery and wonder. How it could make Molly's mind swirl with crazy thoughts and bizarre ideas. How it could cause all this trouble, how it could hold such a huge story. Holding it in her hands, Molly could almost feel the energy exploding off it. How can it be so still when everything inside is so, so, so incredible? How is it not ripping at the spine, the words bouncing out into the cold world, the tiny object clutched carefully in Molly's hands seemed far too small. She almost expected the curly and swirling writing inside to fling itself out of the book when she opened it but they lay silently on the page, non-moving, just mere words making up a vast story. She flicked through the endless pages, stopping at the section where Abby talks to Aunt Tulisa.

'Oh my Abby, how you've grown! And how those brown eyes have grown darker and that black hair grown straighter!'

Ha! She thought back to the rebellious character in English. She had straight black hair and Molly swore that her eyes were brown, like creamy chocolate. Could it be? It was! Molly felt excited, she had found her! All of a sudden she stopped bouncing around with excitement. Reality began to sink in. She stared at the book in her hands. Was this story even true? Was Abby and Jamie even real? Or are they some sort of made up characters in some made up story where coincidentally the notes in the story were at the back? Maybe the author put it there for effect? Could she really have thought that it was real? How stupid she was! Molly fell back into her chair, slightly disappointed. Why was she so gullible? She was so dumb, cretinous, inane!

The doorbell buzzed loudly and Molly heaved herself out the chair. Ugh, she thought. She was not in the mood for visitors.
