Always ~A Justin Bieber Story~

"What happened?" I chocked as the tears continued to rush down my cheecks. "What do you mean?" He kept his gaze down to the ground. "What happed to the Justin that I met three years ago on that plane?" He shot his head up to look at me. "I'm still that kid, nothings changed!" He looked at me with pleading eyes. I shook my head and let out a strained chuckle wipping my face from tears. "Everythings changed."

1. Chapter 1

~3 years earlier~
"Jack where's my paycheck?" I snapped. He rolled his eyes and walked passed me. "Look Jack, you haven't payed me in 2 months. I need my money!" "Look Ash." he mocked. "I'll pay you soon, now stop harassing me about it."
"If i don't get this months pay, I'm quitting." I said crossing my arms over my chest. He let out a chuckle. "And do what?" He sneered getting closer to my face. His large appearance over powering my smaller frame. I stayed silent as I thought about what he just said.
"Your parents are dead and I was so kind to let you work here as one of my waitresses so you have food and money to help pay for that little hole in the wall you call an apartment and you're going to repay me by quitting." It felt as if the grease from his stain filled shirt was rubbing off on my from how close he has gotten in my face to intimidate me. I stayed silent unsure of what to say. He smirked and shook his head.
"Exactly. So just keep your mouth shut and you'll get paid when you get paid." He said before walking out of the restaurant. That was it! I can't take it anymore. I walked over to the cash register and yanked it open.
"Hun I wouldn't do that if I were you." One of the other waitresses named Charlotte told me. Charlotte was one of the only people in the restaurant who actually cared about me. She was a greying haired woman in her late 40's. She had a kind face that matched her sweet personality. I've known her since I was a baby and when my parents died I lived with her. She told me didn't need to help her with the bills but I felt bad and got a job at the same place she worked to help her out.
"I'm only taking the amount that he hasn't payed me don't worry." "So what are you going to do?" She asked. I thought for a minute and shrugged my shoulders. "I'm leaving." I simply stated. "And go where?" He tone mocking. "I don't know just anywhere but here. There's nothing for me here in South Lake. I can't just sit here and throw away my life doing nothing when I know that's not what my parents wanted. Who knows I mean, I love to sing, maybe I'll try and do something with that." Charlotte gave me a small smile and wrapped her arms around me. "You're right hun. You're parents would be so proud of you. But you're only 15, I can't let you go out into the world by yourself." I thought for a moment. "Atlanta!" Charlotte gave me a questioning look. "My aunt Beverly lives there, I can live with her!" At first she didn't seem to sure but her face began to soften.
"Alright. You be careful out there okay?" I nodded and gave her one last hug before leaving that god forsaken diner.
As soon as I got back to the apartment I went into my room and looked under my bed pulling out a little metal box. I opened it taking out all my savings and began counting all of my money.
It totaled up to about 60,00 dollars. I know a 15 year old with that much money. I've been working since I was old enough to start my own little jobs. I opened my closet and grabbed all of my clothes out of it and placed them on my tiny bed followed by a suite case. I stuffed all of my belongings that I could fit into the case and closed it up. I grabbed my money and left the apartment for the last time without looking back.
I called a taxi service and told them to take me to the nearest airport. Once we got there I walked over to the ticket counter.
"Next in line please." I saw a lady wave her hand signaling me to come to her. I looked behind her and saw a board with different flight times. One place immediately caught me eye.
"I would like a one way ticket to Atlanta please." She smiled and typed something in on her computer screen. "Okay, that's going to be $580. I counted out about 600 dollars and handed it to her. At first she looked at me as if I had two heads but ultimately took the money anyway.
"Here's your ticket and enjoy your flight." I took the ticket from her grasp and thanked her walking towards my gate.
After I went through security, I didn't have that long of a wait before they called my flight number for me to begin boarding.
I got on my plane and took my seat. I thought I had the seat all to myself until a boy who looked around my age with chestnut colored hair took a seat next to me. He looked at me and smiled.
"Hi." I said awkwardly. "Hey." He said back. I looked out the window as I felt the plane begin to move. It had just occurred to me that I had never been on a plane before. I felt myself tense up when the place picked up speed and rose from the ground making me lean back automatically in my seat.
"First time?" The boy asked me. "Is it that obvious?" I chuckled. He laughed to showing off a really nice smile. "Its fine. You know planes are safer than cars right?" I looked at him. "You're kidding right?" "Nope look it up. I'm Justin by the way." He said. "I'm Ash." "Well Ash what are you going to Atlanta for?" He asked turning his body so he was facing me fully. "Well I honestly don't know. I mean I heard that they have some good labels down there and I like to sing so who knows." His eyes widened. I furrowed my eye brows at his expression. "I just got signed to a label down there and I'm moving there today to!" "Woah  small world." I laughed.
For the rest of the ride me and Justin talked about a lot of things. He told me about how he is from Canada and was discovered on youtube a few mouths ago.
I didn't even realize that we had landed until people started to get up from their seats.
"It was really cool meeting you
Ash. Maybe we can hangout sometime. Here gimme your phone." He said. I reached in my jeans pocket and took out my phone. He tapped the screen a couple time and handed it back to me. I smiled. "Thanks. Good luck bye the way." I said. "Yeah you to." We grabbed our bags from the above compartment and both left the plane going in different directions.
