Calum Hood. That's me.
I'm the new kid on the block.
I've just moved to Sydney, Australia with my family to start a new life. But I don't want to.
I liked my old life.
I loved it in fact.
I was the popular kid in school, with a banging girlfriend who just happened to e the head cheerleader. My sister, Mali Hood, got offered a fashion job here in Oz, and my parents just expected me to drop my life and move half way around the world for her.

But what if moving to Aus wasn't such a bad idea after all?
Well, it can only go up from here.

11. chapter eleven

No ones Pov

The two of them sat side by side on the now empty beach, admiring the sun setting on the horizon. Both Calum's and Emma's hands were resting on the sand, awfully close to each other, but neither of them had the guts to just take it that one step further and intertwine their fingers with the opposite sex.

As Calum sat there, his mind was trying to process everything that Emma had just told him. He was contemplating whether to believe that what Emma had just confessed was actually true or not. Was she not actually a slut? But it didn't matter to Calum. He knew who he had feelings for and just because she was known as one thing, doesn't mean he would treat her any differently. All he wanted to do right now was grab her small petite hand and hold it in his rather larger hand, entwining their fingers. He wanted her to be his, and only his.

And as Emma sat there, she was mentally hitting herself for spilling her biggest secret to someone she only met 2 months ago. She broke a promise she had made to herself over a year ago, and she now felt exposed. But why did she confess to Calum? She didn't feel any feelings towards him, did she? I mean he was always on her mind, and she would always create scenarios where the two of them would get together and get married one day, but she just thought it was something every teenage girl felt at some point, and that the thoughts would go away soon. But maybe she secretly wanted them to stay?

After some minutes of silence, with the both of them gazing out at a jet ski gliding across the salty ocean water, Calum finally made a move. He shuffled over a smidge, before intertwining his fingers with Emma's. A small smile appeared on both of their faces as they gazed into each others eyes. Emma rested her head on Calum's muscular shoulder, and took a deep breath in, taking in the smell of the ocean she always loved.

'This is perfect.' They both mentally said, feeling the attraction they felt for each other grow stronger after every minute spent together with the one they clearly adored.
