And when the night gets dark, and there's no way back, I'll call your name, but it's fading, we're fading; After leaving school for nine months, Fenella is ready to go to high school again.... Just not ready to face her best friend and former crush Calum. What Calum doesn't know is that he's the father of Fenella's baby. When given the chance to raise his child, even though both parents are only 16, the opportunity is taken away when he finds out that Fenella is going out with his now ex-friend Ashton Irwin.

28. Think About it

Calum's POV

My mom had just finished called me tell me I could come back and told me that Fenella is a lovely young girl, who knows exactly what to say. She said Fen reminded her of herself when she was Fen's age. Maybe that's why I'm so madly in love with Fen.

These happy thoughts were replaced with negative ones when I heard yelling from upstairs.

It went silent. I decided to see if Fen was still alive.

"Fennn!! Can you pleaseeee come downstairs?" I immediately heard rumbling from upstairs and saw her face from the corner of my eye. She hid slightly behind the stair case in an energetic motion before fulling showing herself.

"What's up Calummmm?"

"My mom said I can move back!"

"Yay!" I bounced off my bed and we both jumped up and down in unison. So not punk rock.

"... I had another question though.. What was all that yelling again?"

"Oh, Ashton and I got into another fight, but no biggie. I forgave him, I just can't resist his puppy dog eyes."

"But Fenella, think about it. I've been living here for a month and I've seen nothing but you two fight, all the time. It's not healthy for the baby, or your relationship. I know I said I wouldn't intrude on your relationship, but I'm just worried. You two are always fighting. I'm honestly sick of it. I have no words on this since I'm leaving, but can't you see it? You two fight about something stupid that he got mad about, then he gives you a gift or pulls those puppy dog eyes out, and then BAM, you forgive him. Then, a few days later, the both of you repeat the process. You guys are forcing this to work now. Aren't you tired of it? You want to best for Xander, but two fighting parents aren't gonna do it."

Her hyperness turned calm and she wasn't impressed by this point. She was a smart girl, and I think she's finally caught on.

"ASHTON!" She shouted.

"What. Have. I. Done?"
