And when the night gets dark, and there's no way back, I'll call your name, but it's fading, we're fading; After leaving school for nine months, Fenella is ready to go to high school again.... Just not ready to face her best friend and former crush Calum. What Calum doesn't know is that he's the father of Fenella's baby. When given the chance to raise his child, even though both parents are only 16, the opportunity is taken away when he finds out that Fenella is going out with his now ex-friend Ashton Irwin.

Fenella's POV

After Calum was settled down, it was just about 8 pm. I'm surprised the two haven't killed each other.

We all decided to order pizza for dinner since we were all too lazy and tired to cook. The ppizza arrived and we all sat around the living room coffee table, eating. Calum on one couch, Ashton and I on the opposite.

"So Calum, what happened?" Ashton asked, in the middle of a chew.

"Well, my mom heard me over talking about Xander and then she yelled at me. She really didn't say anything, just gave me the luggage and made me get out." He grabbed another piece.

"Aw, Calum. I'm sorry."

"It's fine Fen, I'm gonna call my sister later. She'll probably let me stay with her and then talk to my mom about the whole thing. But yeah, thanks again for letting me stay until I can figure things out."

I gave him a sympathetic smile as we all finished up our pizzas. I picked up the boxes while Ashton helped my with the plates.

"Ash, you're gonna promise to be nice, right?"

"Do I have to?"

"Yes Ashton, you do. Please? I mean it can't really kill you. Just act around Calum how you would act around me." I threw away the dirty paper plates and pizza box. Ashton washed his hands.

"So you want me to flirt with Calum?" He said sarcastically.

"If that's what it takes for you to be nice to him, then sure."

"You're kidding right?" We were finally facing each other, and he obviously wasn't happy of my request.

"No, Ashton I'm not. I'm being 100% serious right now. Calum is our guest, he is also a friend. I want you to be nice to him. He is Xander's father."

"How many times have  I told you not to bring that up? We made it clear that if I raised Xander with you, I would be Xander's father."

Our conversation had turned into shouting by this point.

"Ashton, please stop shouting. Xander is asleep and I'm sure Calum can hear us."

"Great! Let him hear us! Let him hear you siding with him! You ungrateful little shit."

I'm guessing this was my breaking point. I felt tears trickle down my face. Unsure what to do, I pushed him past me and ran into our room.

***Just for the record, I've already written all the chapters to this Movella. I'm slowly posting each one, and I've just realized that there are only 9 chapter left. So watch out. The ending is not amazing. At the time I thought it was a good way to end it, and even thought it isn't I intend on keeping it that way. I've hoped you enjoyed reading these last few chapters. ~ Lanna
