Chapter Eight

'These wings are made to fly,' The girls and I finished singing our final song, Wings, before yelling countless 'goodbyes' to the crowd. Rhyl was amazing - the crowd was huge, constantly screaming and cheering for us. Being on stage singing my heart out with three girls I've grown to love so much was such an amazing experience.

"Girls, that was amazing!" Our manager, Sam commented, hugging all of us.

"Thanks, Sam. All I want to do now is cuddle up in bed and sleep!" I laughed, beginning to look through the dressing room for my onesie.

"No, you're not sleeping," Leigh-Anne said, snatching the onesie out of my hand when I found it.

"What? I'm exhausted though! I need my beauty sleep!" I complained, folding my arms over my stomach.

"We're going out to party! It's the first night of the DNA tour, we need to celebrate! Come on Poopey, what happened to the party girl?" Jesy frowned poking my stomach gently.

"Ugh, fine. But I'm leaving at 1 AM and going straight to sleep." The girls clapped and cheered and we all hugged, before changing out of our performance costumes to something more suitable for a party.

Jesy looked very hot for the night out - she wore a short, tight black dress which had comic prints all over it, and paired that with black high heels that had gold studs on the heel. Her now brown hair was tied up in a high pony tail, with a small quiff at the front, and she wore massive hoop earrings.

Leigh-Anne looked very sexy. She wore a simple black dress that went just past her knees, and had a little slit up the knee, and wore some huge black and silver platform heels. She styled her hair back into her big afro and was also wearing some huge hoop earrings.

Perrie had a mixed cute but sexy look. She wore a long black dress, which also had a slit up the knee, and was also rocking some black platform heels. Her purple hair was in a simple high bun, and she was also wearing a chunky necklace.

I'm not sure what type of look I was going for. I was wearing a short, high waisted black skirt which had some white patterns on it, and a long sleeved black turtle neck crop top which had slits at the shoulders. I slipped on some plain orangey-red heels and a simple gold necklace.

"Ready to go girls?" Jesy said after applying more lipstick. Perrie mumbled a 'yes' as she finished touching up her eyeliner, and Leigh-Anne squealed as she picked up her bag. I smiled and nodded, turning away and yawning slightly because of how tired I was. I really would rather not go tonight, but I guess I kind of had to for the girls.

"Come on Jade, come have a dance!" Perrie giggled, pulling on my hand.

"Not right now, I'm just gonna have a drink or two and I'll come later. Promise." I smiled reassuringly at my purple haired friend, and she sighed before walking off to the dance floor with the girls. I turned to the bar and ordered myself a glass of red wine, gulping it back pretty quickly. Another one followed, and another one. I was only tipsy at this point.

"Hey," I heard a male voice say behind me. I turned around to see a very attractive boy looking at me, his vibrant green eyes sending me into a trance. "you're Jade from Little Mix, right?" he asked.

"Yeah, I am. Are you a fan?" I gestured for him to take a seat next to me, and he happily sat down.

"I guess you could say I'm a fan. My little sister loves you, she always makes me listen to your music, watch your music videos and interviews. You're an amazing singer," he smiled at me, making me blush slightly.

"Thanks," I giggled and took another sip of wine. "What's your name?"

"Bradley," he replied.

"Bradley, I've always loved that name for some reason." I smiled, looking down shyly.

"Really? What a coincidence." he smiled at me then took a sip of his beer.

"So, you know what I do for a living, and probably a lot about me from your sister. Tell me about yourself." I smirked, turning around more to face him.

"Well, what do you want to know?" he laughed.

"I don't know... Where are you from? What's your job? Stuff like that."

"Okay. I was born in Kent but I moved here with my mum and my sister ten years ago, when my dad died of cancer. I don't really have a job, I post covers on YouTube and busk around town and stuff," he shrugged his shoulders, taking a gulp of his beer before turning to face me again.

"I'm sorry about your dad," he smiled sweetly at me. "So, you can sing?"

"Yeah, and I can play a bit of guitar and drums."

"Really? That's so cool. Is singing like, something you want to do as a career? I sound so nosy, I'm sorry," I shook my head and he just laughed at me.

"No, you're not being nosy. You're just... interested. And yeah, I would love to do singing as a proper career, like you. Not like be in a girl band with choreographed dance routines," I laughed at his little joke, "I mean like, Ed Sheeran, you know?"

"Yeah. Hey, if you want, I could talk to some of the people at Syco Music and put in a good word for you? Like, for getting a record deal or something." he looked right in my eyes, his eyes sparkling. A huge smile appeared on his face, making me smile.

"You'd do that for me?" he asked, sounding a little shocked.

"Yeah! You seem like a really nice guy. I'd have to check out your covers first, to make sure you actually have a good voice. Not that I think you don't, oh I'm sorry I'm messing up." I once again shook me head, and he, again, laughed at me.

"Don't worry about it. Well, my full name is Bradley Munro. See if you can find me," he winked at me, and I swear my cheeks were redder than a tomato.

"Jade, come dance!" Jesy yelled, pulling my arm.

"I'll be one minute, Jes." she ran off, back to the other girls, and I looked back over to Bradley.

"Don't worry about it, I have to get going anyway. Promised my mum I'd be back to take care of my sister, Lucy." he smiled, standing up. I stood up too, and we just sort of awkwardly stood around for a brief moment.

"Um, can I get your number? You know, for the whole like, you talking to Syco thing. You'll have to contact me anyway," he laughed nervously, and I giggled at him.

"As long as you promise not to give it away to anyone." I said.

"I promise," he laughed again and handed me his phone, and I handed him mine. We both put our numbers in and swapped back.

"Thanks," he smiled at me and leaned down, kissing my cheek gently. I smiled at him and he turned around, walking away. I bit my lip and smiled - did I like Bradley? He was cute, and really nice.

"Jade! Come on," Perrie grabbed my arm and pulled me over to the other girls.

"Finally! Let's dance!" Leigh-Anne yelled, and we all danced together for ages, celebrating that the DNA tour had finally begun.

A/N: Hi guys! So, there was such a long wait for this chapter. But finally, it's here! I meant to upload a few days ago, but I got obsessed watching Misfits on Netflix. If you watch that, comment below your favourite character and I'll love you forever!

I'd also like to give a shoutout to NiallHoran#1Fangurl , she commented on a mumble of mine with a ship name for Jade and Louis: Lade! No, this doesn't guarentee they're going to be together. I'm not even sure if I want to have them being together in my fan fiction! I just loved the ship name. Anyone got a ship name for Jade and Bradley?

I'd just like to mention that Bradley is not famous, he's just a normal guy that sings and stuff.
