Darcy's POV

"That's enough for today girls." My dance instructor called. She walked to each girl and told the things they needed to improve on. When she got to me she let a sigh out.

"Darcy you know I love you, but I think you need to lose a few pounds. Since the next recital is approaching you'll need to be in your best shape."

I nodded my head and watched as everyone left the room.

I straightened out my ballerina tu-tu as I stared in the mirror. I loved to dance. But know one really knows about it. I love acting and singing as well but dancing has always been a passion of mine. It's just the fact that I'm not the right size to be a ballerina. I know I'm small but I guess I'm not small enough. Dancing makes me feel free and it feels good to know that know one knew my little obsession, but how am I supposed to lose this weight?

I walked into the change rooms and got changed into some legging and one of Harry's pullovers. I took a deep breath and let his scent invade my lungs and for once I felt content, kinda. Everything seemed alright.

After I finished I stepped out of the change rooms only to crash into someone.

"Oh, hey love." I looked up to see my boyfriend, Harry. He smiled down at me before kissing my cheek.

"Hi. What's up?" I asked as I unlocked my locker.

"Oh nothing. I was just looking for you. Where were you?" He raised a brow as he leaned against a locker.

"Uh well," I started, as I shoved my dancing clothes in my locker. "Just was in the gym."

Harry rolled his eyes. "Okay. Lunch is almost over. Did you get anything to eat?"

"I'm not feeling too hungry. I'll get something when I get home."

Harry looked down at me surprised. "You aren't hungry? But you're always eating?"

I stared at Harry in shock. Does he think I'm fat? Like everyone else?

"Thanks Harry for pointing that out. I'll see you later." I huffed, and made sure to brush my shoulder against his as I walked past.

Harry's POV

I furrowed my eyebrows as I watched Darcy walk away. Did I do something wrong?

With a sigh, I made it back to the cafeteria and took a seat beside my friends. "Where's Darcy?" Zayn asked.

"I don't know. I think she's mad." I grumbled. I didn't know what I did wrong and here I was feeling guilty for what I might've done.

"Why would she be mad?" Liam question.

"I can't answer that since I don't even know what I did."

"Well what did she say when she seemed mad?" Louis voice broke out.

I rubbed my face with my hands as my stress levels started to rise.

"She said something like 'thanks for pointing that out.'"

"What did you point out?" Niall spoke between chews.

"Um I think I said that she eats all the time." I muttered hoping they didn't hear.

"Harry!" They groaned in unison.

"How could you say something like that?" Liam sighed out.

"I don't know, okay? I asked her if she had any lunch and she told me that she didn't feel hungry. I know it sounds rude but Darcy's favourite food is a Big Mac at McDonalds. I didn't know it would upset her. I didn't mean to make her mad."

"Harry maybe you say all that to her." Louis explained.

"I guess you're right guys. It probably did sound harsh coming from her own boyfriend. I should go find her before the bell rings."

They nodded their heads and I walked off in search for Darcy.

I looked all over the school until I remember that she could be in the library.

I opened the doors and soon enough I found Darcy sitting alone reading a magazine.

"Hey." I half smiled.

Darcy looked up from her magazine and when she locked eyes with me she groaned. She got up from where she was sitting and started leave.

"Darcy..." I grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"What do you want Harry?" She asked, harshly.

I got a good look at her and noticed how puffy her eyes were. Was she crying?

"Darcy, I'm sorry. Have you been crying?" I nervously bit my lip.

She huffed. "Well it sometimes happens when the people you think care about you say horrible things right in your face."

My eyes widened. "I care about you Darcy, why would you say that?"

She shook her head. "You know what Harry? I really don't want to deal with this now. Let's just forget the fact that you think I eat all the time. Let's just go back to that fake couple we are."

Darcy yanked her hand out of my grip and let it drop to her side.

"Can you just here me out?" I whisper-yelled. She laughed. "I'm gonna get out of here Harry. I'm really not in the mood for this."

Before she could leave again I grabbed her wrist and pulled her into an empty row of book shelves.

"Harry let me go." She spoke through gritted teeth.

"I'm not gonna let something that I know hurt you pull you away from me. Darcy it was a mistake alright? I didn't mean it like that and I don't think you're overweight. You're beautiful. And I love the way you are."

I took a deep breath and stared down on her. "Please, I'm so sorry. Just please forgive me."

I rested my hand on Darcy's cheek so she could look up at me.

"Please say something." I whispered.

I could see Darcy's eyes gloss over before she pulled me into a hug.

"I forgive you." She mumbled into my shirt.

"So we're okay?" I asked as I pushed her hair back away from her face.

Darcy's POV

After Harry dropped me off at home I get to my bedroom and dropped everything. I pulled Harry's pullover off of me body and my leggings too. I walked into my connecting washroom and found my scale. I took a deep breath before closing my eyes and stepping on.

With a sigh I stepped off the scale and stared at myself in my full length mirror. I poked at my stomach and my thigh fat. I needed to lose the weight and I needed to do it without anyone knowing, especially Harry.

I pulled my clothes back on and found my laptop. Logging in, I headed straight for a browser. I typed in 'how to lose body fat fast' in the search bar. I waited and instantly found different sites that could potentially help me.

I clicked on one and it said that I would have to take certain diet pills and I knew that wasn't the right choice.

Another said that exercise was the only way and I agreed. I closed my laptop as headed downstairs to the treadmill.

I ran for about 2 hours and I only drank water afterwards. When my dad called me for dinner I told him that I already ate. I knew what I was doing was wrong but I needed to lose the weight. If I ever wanted to ever get a chance at getting an audition to New York's dance and arts school. I had to be perfect for my audition.

The next day, I knew that this plan was gonna be tough. I was exhausted and hungry. Whenever I saw someone with food I couldn't handle it.

It was lunch time and I had a feeling that Harry would notice that I wasn't eating. He would probably freak out and assume that I took what he said to heart. It did hurt but I was more mad then upset. I knew he didn't mean it but it still stung.

I pulled out my salad and fiber bar. When I looked up I noticed they were all staring.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Are you alright? You look extremely tired." Liam pointed out.

I let out a sigh. "I'm fine Liam. Really." I gave him a weak smile before quickly eating my salad. I finished my food and threw away my garbage. When I got back I sat beside Harry.

"Well we need to get out of here." Louis smirked. I eyed them and watched as they left leaving Harry and I alone.

"Do we have a play practice?" Harry asked me. I nodded my head.

"Yep after school."

"Okay, well I'll see you then?" I nodded my head. Harry pressed a soft kiss to my lips making me almost fall over. He caught me before I fell off the bench.

"You okay? I don't think I kissed you that hard." His cheeks were bright red and his eyebrows were furrowed.

"You just caught me off guard. I'm fine." His hands were still on my waist holding pretty tight.

"Okay. Well I should get going." With his arms still wrapped around me, he pecked my lips.

"Alright. See ya later."

I watched as he walked away. When he was out of the cafeteria I let a sigh out.

My boyfriend can't even kiss me with out me feeling like I'm losing my balance or feeling dizzy. How am I supposed to avoid something as simple as that?

*after school*

I made it safely to the theater and took a seat. Harry and the rest of the boys came in a few minutes later and took a seat on either side of me.

"Okay, everyone. I'm gonna announce the parts." The teacher spoke out.

"Darcy Brandon as the leading lady." He spoke giving me a smile.

Harry kissed my cheek and I couldn't help but grin.

"Alright, Harry Styles as the leading man."

"Good job mate!" The boys cheered.

"Congrats babe." I smiled.

The director read out the last of the names and roles and then he told us what play we were playing.

"Romeo and Juliet." There were a bunch of murmurs across the theater. I didn't really mind. I loved that play.

"Practice starts next week everyone. Come grab a script."

"This should be fun." I muttered under my breath.
