3. the funeral

Joe p.o.v.

Today was my parents funeral. I never wanted them to die so young, all my family was here, none of my friends. I told them don't bother coming, I wanted to spend time with family. This is one of the moments in every girl's life where they just want to be hugged, held onto. I had a lot of those moments in the past two years. Harry was the one that was there when I needed someone. but he is off with that band of his, he most likely forgot about me. I mean why would someone hold onto a person that broke their heart and left?

So I stood there with my family looking at the two coffins in the ground. Side by side my parents rested. The guy in black sarted reading from the book of his. I looked around at all my family with red puffy eyes. It was a good time of the year though, winter. Winter is my favorite and I love how the snow falls. I looked back down, snowflakes gently falling on the two shinny black cases. I looked back up, I couldn't look at them. Harry had a great relationship with them. My parents loved him, when I left him they were disappointed. My Aunt Leaynne started walking away, tears streaming. Her and my mum got along well, unlike other siblings. It must be hard for her, she was attending her little sister's funeral. My Grandma went over to comfort her. As the guy finished my family started leaving. The only people left were Leaynne, her husband Timmy, and my Grandma. I was standing against a tree looking at the sky.

I turned to look back at the hole. There was another person still here. In a tan coat, white scarf, black jeans, and curly hair. Harry.

He was here at the funeral. For how long, did he stay here the entire time? My feet started walking to him even if I didn't want to. He turned to look at me. Sadness filled his eyes. "Hey." He said quietly. I nodded. "Were you here the entire time?" I asked. If he was that was a shocker. With his career I never thought he would ever come. "Yeah, I was close to your parents, I had to come. I'm sorry about your loss." I wiped my tears away with the sleave of my jacket. "Thanks. How did you know?" "I watch the telly. I would feel guilty if I saw and didn't come, besides I wanted to." He was at least half a foot taller than me but I wrapped my arms around his neck to hug him. I let go and looked at him. "I thought you were going to build up walls?" "I did but I needed a hug." I saw a small smile on his appear on his face.

How do you like it so far? Eh? Well school is starting soon and I won't be able to update a lot. I most likely will on weekends starting on the 21st.
