If You Spread Your Wings.

(Sequel to "The Unexpected Miracle.")
Kira has grown up, maybe too fast for Justin's liking.
So when she takes over her mother's job, danger starts filling the air. But love brings her back to reality.
It always ends in some sort of way....

13. Thirteen.

Samira's P.O.V.

Smiling as we all ate around the dinner table, I smiled at Alex and Kira. They were now official, and I couldn't be happier for them. Justin did the protective threats, scaring the shit out of the poor boy.

"Perrie, Kira and I will do the dishes tonight, boys." I grinned, piling their plates over mine.
"Yes!" Justin breathed.
"What's that Justin?" I smirked. "You want to join us."
"N-No." He quickly shook his head.

I chuckled, pecking his cheek. He smiled and pecked my lips. Ever since we had found the kids, we've been going stronger than ever. I walked in the kitchen with the girls, Zayn playing with Elliott. He's such a great dad, it reminds me of Justin when Kira was young.

"Look, I didn't want to tell this in front of the boys, because we all know how Justin... has short temper." Perrie said hesitantly.
"What is it?" Kira asked questionably, raising her eyebrows.
"He found us." She finally sighed.

I froze into place, trying to think otherwise. We had been here for a month, and we've covered our trails perfectly. We couldn't have been located, it's impossible.

"And he has an hostage." She shook her head.
"Who?" I raised my eyebrows, desperate in need of something good.
"He has Harry's wife, Samira." She whispered. "She never... died."
"That's impossible." Kira interrupted. "She died when Alex was young."

A small creek made me snap out of my thoughts, my head snapping to the door frame. His eyes were full of tears, threatening to cascade down his perfectly sculpted cheek bones. He shook his head, my guilt building up inside.

"I have..." He trailed, the salty water dripping. "To find her."
"Get the others." I sighed, looking down. "We're going to find her."

Alex's P.O.V.

"You don't really think I'd stay here whilst knowing you could attack me at any time?" Satiamova chuckled harshly on the other line, all of us sitting around my dad's iPhone. "Hope is meant to be crushed, Harold."
"I want my wife back." My dad spat. "If you won't go the easy way, I will find you... and I will kill you."
"I'd like to see you try." I could sense the smirk, which I'd wipe off his face if he was right there. "But wait, you don't have a clue where I am. I could be anywhere... in the world."

The line went dead, my eyes watering. I gently laid my head in Kira's neck, her small hands running through my hair. She whispered soothing words in my ear, slowly calming my anger and rage building up.

"We need to separate. Perrie, you can stay here with Elliott." Zayn sighed. "While the others... are on their own."
"I am not letting my seventeen year old daughter on her own." Justin growled, his whole body tensing up.

For a protective dad, he filled up the role perfectly. I thought I was gonna die when he gave me his word that if Kira was hurt, I would end up worst than she could ever be. I swear, I will keep my word to that promise.

"We don't have the time to argue over this, Justin." Samira grumbled.
"I refuse." He snapped stubbornly.
"What would you have done if it was me?" Samira whispered. "You wouldn't have taken any chances, you would've let me get tortured, until I die? Is that what you're saying?"

A hint of hurt flashed in his eyes, his whole body becoming less tense under her touch, staring blankly at the wall in front of him. He grumbled a few curse words and finally agreed, getting me worried of leaving Kira alone in the wild.

I gently kissed her collar bone, her cheek resting on the top of my head as she rocked us back and forth delicately. My breathing finally became more regular, her delicate words soothing me to the point where I almost fell asleep.

"We leave tonight, pick your place, think intelligently." Zayn murmured, looking at the map of the world, laying on the coffee table.
"I'm going to Russia." Samira breathed. "I'll check the secret locations, I think my membership card still works."

She circled the country with a Sharpie, nodding to herself. Zayn slowly picked up the Sharpie, examining the card as if it was some kind of life contract. I kind of understand him, he's leaving his wife and three year old son behind.

"Japan." He simply stated. "I remember meeting him there, in Tokyo."

He circled the small country, closing the cap gently. He shook his head, Perrie comforting him by hugging his side. I guess it wasn't a great meeting if he doesn't want to bring the memories back.

"Italy." My dad sniffed. "Where I first met her."

I watched as he shakily circled the country, the map becoming damp because of slight tears falling on the simple piece of paper. He closed the cap handing it to Justin, who messed around with it for a bit, before opening it it one swift movement.

"Hollywood." Justin sighed. "Where I first met Harry and her."

Circling the town, he handed it to me, making me think. The place he chose obviously has a signification, which means he definitely wants to bring us somewhere with this. He wants us to find her, he wants a chase.

"San Antonio." I mumbled, opening the cap. "Where she was supposed to die."

I flinched at my own words, circling the small town in Texas. I had never been there in my entire life, and I don't think I intended on going. I took a deep breath, closing the cap and handing it to Kira, who was staring at the map. She softly took the cap off, placing it on the other end.

"India." She murmured, circling the small country. "Where Harry and her married."

Closing the pen gently, silence took over as I stared blankly at the wall ahead. One by one, they stood up and left the living room. Zayn booked all of our flights, probably costing over ten thousand pounds.

Samira's P.O.V.

"I don't want her to leave without protection." Justin breathed, stuffing his clothes in a random duffle bag.
"Why?" I sighed, dropping my clothes on the bed. "Explain to me, right now."
"How can you be okay with that?" He looked at me in disbelief.
"Because she's our daughter, and I trust her." I said. "And that if it was me, you'd be going like a crazy man around the world. He's desperate, Justin. He just wants his wife back."

He nodded, grumbling slightly. We all finished packing, walking back down stairs. Zayn was hugging Perrie tightly, which made my heart drop. He had a three year old son, that he was leaving behind.

Kira's P.O.V.

"Promise me." Alex whispered. "Promise me that you'll call."
"I promise." I kissed his cheek.

My flight had just been called, and he was not letting me go. He bit his lip, nodding. He pecked my lips on more time, letting my jacket go. I mouthed 'I promise' at him, smiling lightly. It wasn't the type of situation to smile about, just to lighten his mood a little. My phone buzzed in my back pocket, I pulled it out as I stepped in the plane.

From: Alex.
To: Kira.

I love you.
