DELILAH *Sequel*

I guess I'm not the daughter that they expected to have. Oh well.
My mother (the only person in this world that defends me) was diagnosed with lung cancer just a few months ago, and none of us even want to think about how much longer she has. My older sister, Minnie, just went off to college, and without daddy's little princess in the house, he gets mad about everything and anything. He hates the love of my life, my friends, my job and all the other things in my life that I love.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, my father is Harry Styles... Right?

Part II to MINNIE (A Harry Styles Fan-fiction)

6. Six

"Hi..." I said slowly raising my eyebrows.

"Are you Delilah?"

"You're so beautiful. It's so wonderful to finally meet you."

"I'm sorry, who are you?"

"Is your mother home?"

"No, but she'll be back in a few minutes with my dad."

"Do you mind if I come in?"

"Um, I'm not so sure if that's a good idea." The man had blue orbs and wrinkles under his eyes. His hair had white streaks in it and he had a creepy tattoo on his arm. I swallowed hard, wondering what he would say next.

"Sure it is, you can trust me."

"You can't come in." I told him, to stop his feet from stepping any closer.

"I'm your father." he smiled, showing his bright teeth. I almost collapsed right there. I looked at his features more carefully. His brows arched the same way mine did, and there was a tiny beauty mark right above his top lip. Just like mine.

I ran my fingers through my dark hair and pretended like I didn't know what he was talking about. "No your not, I think you should leave."

"No, no, Gorgeous." He picked up my hand, and kissed it. "That man... Is not your daddy, sweetheart." Dad's car pulled up, but William didn't seem to notice. I clenched my jaw shut as his eyes widened from the driver's seat. Mom couldn't catch up to him as he angrily approached us.

"Daddy." Was the only thing I could say as he looked into my eyes. He knew then that I had known everything. I pulled my hand away quickly, and took deep breaths as Mom pushed me inside, her face was pale and dry. Dad rammed the man into the bricks, just like he did to Kevin not too long ago. But this time, more force was added.

"I swear to God if you ever touch her again I will tear you to shreds."

"Well, well, well, we meet again, Mr. Styles."

"What do you think you're doing here?"

"I think she deserves to know who her real father is... doesn't she?"

"Answer my damn question." Dad asked, slamming him again.

The guy grimaced. "Lets just say that your mother in law just doesn't know how to keep her big mouth shut."

"I think I'm gonna be sick." Mom announced, rushing to the bathroom.

"Delilah go to your room, NOW." Dad instructed, holding William against the hard surface.

"You don't understand." he said. "I've changed." his features became softer and his eyes glistened.

"Sure you did, asshole." Dad grunted.

"Just let me go, and we can talk about it. I want her to know me. She's my kid."

"No she isn't." Another slam. "DELILAH I SAID TO GO UPSTAIRS!" he roared.

"Look, mate. I know that what I did was a mistake. I was a dick."

"Do you seriously think that anybody's gonna forgive you?"

"Please just give me a chance to get to know my daughter."

"She's not your daughter!" he looked at me, furious. "Dammit Delilah, how many times do I have to tell you!??!" I was frozen on the first step, staring as the curly haired man in front of me released his rage. Tears fell down my face while I watched his face droop. I wanted to scrunch up in a ball on the floor. I'd never seen him so angry before. And I think this was the first time I'd ever been scared of him.

He released William from his grip and calmly approached me. Its like his whole world stopped as soon as he looked into my eyes. Sobs started lapping out of my mouth as he pulled me into his arms. I held onto him so I wouldn't fall, and he rested his hand on my hair. I sniffled over and over again as he shushed me. William stood awkwardly at the entrance, gazing at our loving embrace. "Pumpkin, go up to your room. We'll talk about it in a few minutes." I tried to control my cry as he stroked my cheek with a whisper. "Please, baby girl." He wiped my tears and kissed my forehead. I turned on my heel and slowly walked up the stairs. My fists were clenched and my teeth were grinding together.

What did William do? Why does Dad hate him so much? Why won't he be forgiven? Why did he come to find me? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.

I wondered for what seemed like forever, until Dad knocked on my door. "Delilah..."

"Who is he?" Was all I said, even though I'd already had a clue.

"He's just some jackass th-"

"Is he really my father?"

"I am."

"Is he my biological father?" he sighed, and sat down on my bed, beside me.

"Yes, he is." he reached for my hand, but I rejected the offer. "Nothings different, pumpkin. I still raised you and changed your diapers and went to all of your ball games, and held you when you were sick." I sniffled. "I'm your father."

"Why didn't anybody tell me? I heard you and mom talking the other day."

"Everything? You heard everything?" I nodded. "Just forget him. Erase him from your memory."

"How am I supposed to forget something like that?" I nearly shouted. He chuckled.

"You sound like your mother." I growled, upset at the fact that he'd changed the subject that way. "Come here." he pulled me into his arms and sighed. "I'm so sorry."

"What did he do to Mom?"

"It's kind of complicated y-"

"Tell me."

He hesitated before he spoke again. "He forced Mom to do something that she didn't want to do." he shut his eyes, pained at the thought of it. I swallowed hard.

"He... He raped her?" My father's eyes locked on mine, and he didn't say another word. He just stood up and walked out.
