3. Chapter 3

 - Libby

Mr. Jean scanned down the room intensely. All of the girls were staring at Harry as if he were a god. Which he was the complete opposite of. I mean, for all I knew, he was probably some psychotic teenager trying to scare me. How gullible do I actually look?

"Now, I'll need to assign you someone to introduce you around the school... Hmmm," Mr. Jean said rubbing his chin.

"Oh! I'll do it, Mr. Jean, for the good of the school and all," a girl named Holly said, far too eagerly. Obviously, she was one of the school's 'popular' kids so, gradually, she caught then attention of most people. Not shocking at all. Trust me. Harry looked at her with a seductive smirk, and his sparkly green eyes causing Holly to look at him sweetly. Honestly, I could've vomited right on the spot.

"Let's let Mr. Styles choose," Mr. Jean said gesturing to Harry. Holly was on her feet and ready to approach Harry when he looked to me and pointed.

"What's your name, love?" Harry asked towards me. Liam fidgeted in his seat and slightly and snickered. Everyone looked at me wide-mouthed and sighed. Holly still stood, proudly. What exactly was she expecting? An award?

"It's Elizabeth." I responded. Harry looked back at Mr. Jean and smiled.

"Elizabeth it is," he said. Mr. Jean nodded.

"Ms. Cambridge, go on ahead and show Mr. Styles around the school," Mr. Jean said. I sighed in frustration but complied and stood up.

"Lets go," I said through gritted teeth. Harry nodded then we both walked out the door.

"You know, I expected you to be more happy that you get to spend your time with me. Most women would kill to be in your position," Harry cheekily said.

"Well, you're waiting to kill me. I didn't know I had to make you king in ten days," I said crossing my arms. Harry chuckled then looked down at his shoes. "Tell me, what would you say that makes me believe that you're a devil?"

"I can't use words to explain it. Only examples," he said. I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes.

"Please, that only makes me believe everything even less," I said walking ahead of him. I heard footsteps behind me and then someone grab my wrist. Next thing I knew, I was pinned against the wall. Harry looked at me with his playful eyes. "What are you doing?"

"Proving to you that this is all real," he said. "Now, don't get the wrong idea," he said before plastering his lips onto mine. It was seconds into the kiss when the world turned black.

I was strolling through a field. Everything was so-green-so perfect.

"Hey, Libs," a familiar voice said from behind me. Liam. I turned around to see Liam carrying a perfect red rose. I smiled at him.

"I wonder who the belongs to," I trailed off biting my lip playfully.

"You of course. The perfect rose for the perfect girl." Liam said as approached me. The wind blew and caused my hair to do the same. But, it wasn't the deep black colour I was used to. It was more-golden. "What's wrong? Don't like the rose?" Liam asked.

"No, it's just, I'm a blond." I said pointing to my head. Liam laughed. I liked seeing this side of him, so romantic, and pleasant. The Liam I was used to never did that. But I have to say, both are amazing.

"You've always been a blond, Libby. You seem surprised." Liam stated.

"I'm not. No need to fuss over it. I'm just worried about my mother and the baby," I said. Liam looked at me, puzzled.

"Your mother and the baby are perfectly alright. Did something happen?" Liam asked. I shook my head and giggled.

"No. Everything is fine. I swear," I said. Liam smiled then handed me the rose, before sweetly kissing me on the lips.

Harry pulled away from me and smiled satisfied.

"W-what the hell was that?" I asked slowly pushing Harry to the side and wiping my mouth away.

"Were you happy with what happened in that little movie that played in your head?" Harry asked, putting his hands behind his back. I nodded solemnly. "Exactly. Us devils or demons, we can dig into your deepest desires and wishes and we can make then seem real,"

"Those are private, Harry," I said, gaining more strength in my tone.

"Relax, I don't know what any of it is or what exactly happened in that whole thing but, I did feel what was going on. You were with your one and only, you saw what you wanted. Everything was perfect and that is only done by us hell descendants," he said, looking proud.

"You'd think that would be done by angels, or god," I said loosening my hair to fix the bun.

"Pfft. Angels don't compare to us. They wish to be us. Now that burns me, angels are known to be powerful and brave. Well, no they're now, they're weak and they're cowards. But, devils being devils, always fall for angels. Like Louis and Zayn. But, unlike Louis and Zayn, most of us don't stay with our clan," he said.

"With your clan? Do they turn into angels?" I questioned ruffling up my hair. Harry approached me and took the hair band away.

"You look better with your hair down," Harry said. I nodded then looked at him waiting to answer

the question. "Yes, many do. But if you're resistant then, no, you'll remain where you are,"

"I always thought that if a devil and an angel fell in love, it would be forbidden," I said shrugging my shoulders and walking down the halls.

"No... That would be angels to humans and devils to humans. That's forbidden," Harry said. I tilted my head to the side and nodded. "You know, while I'm breaking a law down in hell for you, why don't we just become friends? I'm always up for a challenge,"

"A challenge? What the actual fuck do you mean by that?" I asked putting my hand on hip.

"Well, you seem like you have a lot of sass to you. I'd love to see what that would be like to deal with," Harry said flipping his hair to the side. He held out his hand for me to shake.

"Fine. But this will be strange considering I'll have my own grave next month," I said shaking his hand. "And you have to promise me one thing,"

"Don't ever kiss me again. Even if you want me to see my heaven," I said.

"Please. Kissing you isn't the only way to see anything. That was just personal choice..."
