Olivia Jones is just a normal teenage girl from Murfreesboro, TN. She's about to start her junior year in high school when her father tells her that his job is moving them to London, England for two years! Olivia doesn't know what she will do without her best friends by her side in her last two hears of high school, or her "secondary education" as they in London. What will she do? How is she going to graduate in London? She then meets five cute boys from her favorite band.....One Direction. She wasn't one of those freak fans so she instantly becomes good friends with them. They were all to old for her, so she stayed friends. But then when she turns 18, things change.
*I made this fanfiction up in my head a while back, so I decided to put it in a movella! Hope ya like it! :)*

1. School's Out!

Olivia's POV

*3:28 PM, May 31*

Two minutes. Two minutes until freedom. Total freedom for two months. No homework, exams, tests, pop quizzes, annoying teachers, popular girls, gross lunch, shall I name more? Just me, my best friend, and the beach. And of course my parents. Only two more years until I could go places without my parents though. Until I was an adult. I was hoping to my driver's license this summer. I got my permit over a year ago when I was still 15. I turned 16 three months ago. It was time. I had read every single stupid handbook on driving I was given. I was ready. I looked at the clock. 3:29.

One minute. One flippin minute until summer. My teacher was actually making us be quiet. Or attempting to. Mrs. Appleton thought it would be easy making a bunch of soon to be juniors be quiet when there was less than sixty seconds until summer. I felt like the beginning of High School Musical 2. I was just watching the clock. I glanced over at my best friend Katy and she crossed her eyes and stuck out her tongue and nodded her head towards Mrs. Appleton. I stiffled a giggle and glanced over at Drew Johnson. The cutest guy in my grade. He had these big bright green eyes and swoopy dirty blonde hair. He had these dimples that would make the whole continent of Anarctica melt if he flashed them at it. He was currently laughing at something his buddy Josh said.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! Yes!! The bell!! That beautiful bell sounded like heaven! Everybody cheered and rushed out of the room. I walked past Drew and decided to tell him something. "Hi Drew. See ya next year!" I said and flashed a smile. He gave me a weird look and said "Ok. You too....Olive?" "No, Olivia." I said and my cheeks turned bright red. "Ahhhh I'm just kidding ya! Bye!" he said with a smile and ran away. I smiled. I didn't really know what to make of that. Eh. Whatever.

I waited for Katy to come out of the classroom. Of course she was talking to Mrs. Appleton. Katy was I guess you could call, the teacher's pet. Or a nerd. That could work too. She was a genius. She's never had a B on her report card, went to the regional spelling bee twice, was on Sciene Olympiad, and who knows what else. But, she was my best friend. And she acted a lot different outside school walls. She was crazy. Not bad crazy, but hilarious in a lets-make-cupcakes-and-put-icing-all-over-each-other's-faces-and-lick-the-icing-off way. She's hilarious and one of the most fun peope I know to be around. Even though she's a nerd, pretty much everybody likes her. Besides the smarts, she was very pretty. She had longish brown hair with light blonde highlights in them. She had side bangs that were right above her big brown eyes. I got quite jealous of her a lot.

"Heyyyyyy summer buddy!" she said as she ran out of the classroom and linked arms with me. I laughed as we practically skipped out to the parking lot. She already had her drivers license so she drove us to school every day now. She had a pretty good job working as an assistant at the hospital so she paid for her insurance and gas herself. And of course it helped that both of her parents were like brain surgeons. So she was basically rolling in money. But she didn't want to be a doctor which her parents didn't like. Surprisingly, she wanted to be a dancer. She loved to dance. Every kind. Ballet, hiphop, jazz, tap, you name it. She loved it.

"Sooooooo wanna go rent a movie and a pick up a blizzard and have a sleepover?" she asked. "As much as I want to, I can't my parents told me they need to talk to me about something imporant." I said. I had been worrying about that. I was worried that my mom was pregnant or something. She had been talking about how she wanted one more and my dad had beem arguing and saying no. I only had one other older sister. Cece lived in Florida as a marine biologist. She worked with all sorts of animals that had to do with the ocean or something. I didn't fully understand it. But, you know. A new baby wouldn't be to bad.

"Bleh you!!! Well we should at least pick up a blizzard from DQ! How about we go crazy and make it a medium since it's the last day of school?" She said. I smiled and nodded. We ran into a couple friends and walked with them and then split up as they went to the buses and went to the parking lot. Not a lot of sophomores could drive and I was just lucky enough to have a best friend who did. We threw our backpacks into the back seat and buckled up. "Hey think your parents would let us have a quick shopping trip at the mall?" She asked with a smile. I laughed. "Yeah! My dad doesn't get home from work until 6, so I can text my mom real quick. She should be fine with it." Of course she was. I just got the normal be safe. Stay in a well populated area of the mall, don't talk to weird looking men, and stay out of Spencers. I laughed and text back 'okay :)'.

We stayed at the mall for about 2 hours. We walked around Aeropostale, Forever 21, Rue 21, Hollister, Victoria's Secret, Charlotte Russe, Delias, and American Eagle non stop. We only got like a couple things, but you know. That's what us teenage girls do. As we headed back to my house with our double fudge cookie dough medium blizzards with chocolate ice cream we blasted the radio. Of course, her One Direction CD was in there which we screamed the lyrics with the windows down. We loved them so much. But, we weren't those creepy stalker fans who looked for their hotel or tried to rip their clothes off if they saw them. Which we did see them in concert, but weren't close enough to rip their clothes off even if we wanted.

When she pulled up to my house and I gathered my bags, she looked at me and said, "Hey. I saw that little conversation you had with Drew you flirt." And she smiled. I blushed and rolled my eyed. "It wasn't really a conversation, it was a bit weird actually." I explained the small little conversation and then studied her face for the reaction. She was hard to read. "Well," she began. "I think he secretly likes you. That's why he messed with you like that." "Whatever." I said. "Mmmmhmmm. Just wait." she said with a sneaky smile. I laughed at my friend. She was so weird. "Oooookay Katy. I'll text ya later with the 'big news' from my parents." And I did little finger quotes around big news. "Kk." she said. "See ya later!" And she drove away smoothly. I was so jealous. That would be soon. Hopefully.

Hey guys!

So this is my second movella! Lol I know I literally just finished my first one, but I've been dying to write this one! I dreamed about this one happening to me. LOL Like seriously, to the last detail. Except I don't have a nerd best friend. I just created the characters. :)

Hope ya like it!

Rachel xoxo
