Daughter of Magic

Alanondra Torrington is the daughter of Hecate, and twin sister of Alabaster Torrington who was exiled by the gods. Now she must find him, and defeat the monsters set in her path to get to him, while finding Camp Half-Blood on the way. And maybe a little bit of love?

1. Chapter 1

I pressed my hands together, sweat beading on my face, and on the back of my neck, I could see on the back of my eyelids, a picture of a globe, with green dots coming from almost every continent where a demigod stood. I pushed, concentrating as the green dots dimmed till they were almost non-existent.

"I, Alanondra Torrington, Daughter of the great goddess, Hecate, weaken to almost non-existence, the monster Lamia, former queen of the Libyan empire and fellow daughter of Hecate's spell on demigods and monsters, hereby freeing demigods from her spell!" I shouted, falling to the ground as soon as the words had left my mouth, the spell's power draining almost all my power and energy.

"Alla!" The two boys shouted, rushing over to me as I hit the ground.

"Get the Nectar, Bast!" Leo shouted.

Rustling around in the grass, then something was being poured down my throat that tasted like my favourite mortal chocolate bar, Mars. I could feel my energy returning, but not enough. My heart rate returned to normal very slowly.

~*Rewind Three Months*~

A slice down the middle and a cut across the waist. One monster down. I did the same to the other three monsters and collected some of the black dust into a jar and then using the small pocket fan I carried to blow it all around.

Now that the monsters weren't being sent to Tartarus and getting re-formed there, these were necessary measures to ensure my safety, as well as other demigods.

I grabbed a small square of Ambrosia and ate it, downing a Mars bar after that.

My all black sword went back into it's matching sheath and I continued down the alley, pressing my hand against my all black dagger as well, hiding from mortal eyes, though they wouldn't bother me while I controlled the mist, I felt safer this way.

I ducked into a convenience store and took my backpack off my shoulder, shoving protein bars, water bottles, Mars bars and two small bags of Lays original chips then heading out, the owner not noticing a thing, I put a mortal twenty dollar bill down on the counter before I headed out. Thank gods for the mist.

With my food replenished and my backpack back on my shoulder I found an water fountain on the street and snapped the top, making mist. And a rainbow. I threw a golden drachma in and said as calmly as I could, "Show me my brother Alabaster Torrington." It shimmered, showed a figure running from monsters for a brief second then died away and I cursed and ran down the street, towards the other side of town, and towards Keeseville, where I would hide out for a while.

*When She Arrives*

After finding an empty apartment room in a building near the center of the city, I emptied my food and water into the working refrigerator and dusted off the other furniture and sat down on the couch. I needed to find my brother, without him... I'll never be strong enough.

A lightbulb went off inside my head, Alabaster had been banished from Camp Half-Blood and from the powers of the gods, I hadn't but I'd chosen to live the same way in hopes of finding him. I would journey to Camp Half-Blood to get assistance

That was my only option, I could give that Percy Jackson a piece of my mind for getting my brother banished and I could find some demigods that are willing to help me find someone that the gods have forbidden from camp, maybe some of my siblings that hadn't died or new ones. Maybe some from other gods to provide some new talents on the monsters.

I took out the jar from my backpack that held the black monster dust that was getting full, one more would fit, then I would have to get some new jars, and this apartment, would defiantly be staying mine, the enchantments would be done in the morning, right now, I needed sleep.
