2. Chapter 2

What do I need? Wait, it depends. Where are we going?

As I searched for things I came across the photo album my mom gave me from when I was little. It seems like it was just yesterday I met Harry for the first time, well the first time that I can remember. Look at us now.

I picked up the album, looking through it was a trip down memory lane... Most of the photos were of Harry and I together, from babies all the way to seventeen/eighteen. It seemed like a million years ago. It felt like I spent hours going through the photos, but it had been less than five minutes. I fit the album into my bag, then made sure I had everything, I think, I would need, and my money.

I walked out of my room, crying again. I stepped over and kicked on Harry's door. He had a worried look as he opened the door. I have never seen this in him, his eyes weren't the usual happy light green, they were a disturbed dark green. He grabbed my arm and bag and pulled me in with one jerk, slamming the door behind me. He then turned and slid down the door onto the ground, leaning against it. He closed his eyes, and I watched a tear roll down his face.

I didn't want to cry in front of her, but I just couldn't help it. She crouched down to check on me.

"Harry, are you okay? What's wrong? I've never seen you cry before." I looked over and could tell she had been crying again.

Looking at her, I knew she couldn't take it. I could hardly take it myself. So I lied to her, for the first time, ever. "Everything is fine. I promise you."

"What's happened to you?" I had to get the spotlight off of me.

"I was going through a photo album my mom gave me. It's in my bag." She smiled at the ground, upset I wouldn't answer her question.

"I'm sorry." I looked straight at the wall.

"For what Harry?"

Still looking at the wall. "Your shitty day."

"Harry look at me." She commanded, so I did. "It's not your fault."

"I'm going to make it up to you." I looked over at her, she rolled her eyes. "We're still leaving, and we are going to have the time of our lives." I tried to smile, for her.

She leaned over to give me a hug. "Cheer up big guy." She whispered in my ear. She didn't pull away, and I didn't want to either. Sooner or later she did. then laid her head in my lap. "Can you sing something for me?" She smiled, and I smiled back.

"Of course. What do you want me to sing?" I started to play with her hair.

"Anything." She whispered as she closed her eyes.

I start to sing a lullaby my mum would sing to me when I was little. I knew she was asleep before it was even over, but when I fell asleep? I don't remember.
