Dark Revenge

He knows that him and Audrey aren't going to work out, but what he doesn't understand is why Audrey is staying in Claire's room, when he explained that there was a perfectly good spare room for her to use. And what everybody can't help but notice is Claire's weird behavior around Audrey and Justin. What happens when her secret gets out, and all hell breaks loose? Will Justin and Audrey be forced to work close together again to save the gang, or will everyone start to leave, one by one? And what happens when Audrey realizes that there's still one brother left...? © 2013 by beliebervision & SoccerBieber18. All Rights Reserved.

2. Chapter 1

There was an awkward silence in the living room this morning. Everybody was sitting quietly on the two couches and the bar stools because Justin had asked them to. It's been about two weeks since Liam died, and since then, Kaiden has left to stay with her older sister for a while. That left Audrey, Justin, Claire, Avery, Seth, Veronica, Austin, Ethan, and Brandon. Audrey sat next to Claire on the couch. She was playing with the hem of her shirt because she didn't want to look at Justin.

"Okay," Justin said, leaning up against the wall with his arms crossed. "We have a little problem."

"What kind of problem?" Seth leaned back on the couch. Avery was sitting on his lap drawing circles on his chest and Audrey was reminded of Justin again.

"Well I ran into someone today..." Justin said. Audrey looked up at him right as he glanced at her, and she quickly put her head down again. "Audrey." He snapped, forcing her to look up again.

"What?" she snapped back. There was a tension in the room now. It always happened when Justin and Audrey talked, and trust me, it made everybody feel uncomfortable. Justin rolled his eyes.

"That someone just happened to be your brother." he said. "And he asked me how you were. Eventually the conversation ended up with him telling me that he wants revenge and so he's going to tell the west side to start making plans."

"And I care because?" Audrey got up from the couch and started to walk towards the kitchen. Justin grabbed her wrist.

"You care because I'm telling you," his voice was quiet. Audrey sometimes wondered if that was worse than his yelling. She didn't really care. "Now go downstairs and mope if you want to." He let go of her wrist and stormed the other way and out of sight. Audrey sighed and rubbed her face with her hands.

"Well," Ethan said as he got up from the couch. "I never want to be in the same room with you two ever again."

Everyone started to agree and they all followed Ethan's example of getting up. Audrey watched them as they all started to file out of the room, one by one until she and Claire were the only ones left. Claire smirked.

"Now you know how I feel all the time." she said. "All you have to do is sleep with someone. That'll make Justin mad."

"Claire I-"

"No buts. You will sleep with someone other than Justin." Claire pushed past her and went downstairs. Audrey followed.

"But I haven't even slept with Justin!"

Claire stopped, mid step, and laughed. "You what?!"

Audrey tightened her grip on the railing and set her jaw. "I haven't slept with Justin, and I'm not going to sleep with anybody else just to make him mad. He's already mad enough."

Claire shrugged. "Whatever you want."

"I think I'm going to go upstairs again," Audrey said and turned around, not bothering to watch Claire leave. She jumped back up the stairs and skipped into the kitchen to grab some water. After she shut the cabinet, someone opened the fridge and she jumped.

"Jeez, you scared me." she said. Justin laughed.

"Hmm," he said. "Well it got you to use a normal tone with me."

Audrey filled her cup with water and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever. I still hate you."

"I know."

"I'm going downstairs to the place where there is, in fact, no spare room." Audrey spat. Justin raised an eyebrow, and as she started to walk away, he said:

"It's upstairs."

Audrey spun around. "What?"

"The spare room is upstairs." Justin said and took a sip of beer. "I thought it was downstairs but it's upstairs. Just in case you were sick of Claire. Unless you're having like really hot make out sessions while I'm not there, in that case, stay there and I'll come watch." He winked and Audrey almost threw up right then and there. She swallowed and managed to stand up straighter.

"Well thanks for letting me know about the spare room, I guess. I better be going." Audrey said, and turned around. As she was about to open the door Justin caught her wrist.

"Audrey," he said.

"Can we try to make things work?" his voice cracked and Audrey knew he was trying not to cry. She didn't look at him as she shook her head.

"I'm afraid we can't do that." She said and ripped her hand out of his grip. "The truth is already out."

"The truth about what?"

Audrey turned around and scoffed. "You know what I'm talking about. Why don't you just ask Claire, your one of many ex-girlfriends?"

"Pardon?" he asked. "Claire and I never dated."

With that, she punched him in the face and stormed downstairs, wanting nothing to do with him.
