9. He's gone.. I

I searched around the forest trying to find him, the rain, soaking my hair. I gave up on the Idea of finding him but yet why he had left still pondered on my mind. I decided not to hurry home as Mycroft would probably be there. I remembered back when I was younger, when I would come here with my friends. We would sit by the lake or go in the tree house my dad built.

But that was all before, when Sherlock was younger and I didn't have things to worry about. I found myself emerging onto the main road  I  heard my name being called, but I just ignored it and carried on walking until a hand grabbed my arm and spun me to face the mystery voice.

" Amelia-sorry Mia? Is everything Okay?” Said Felix, wrapping his arms around me tight.

" Felix I’m so sorry but I need to go, I'm already late.." I said turning away. I carried on walking away and was the foot steps behind me stopped I knew I had gotten away. I opened the door to house and slid down wall onto the floor. I was breathing heavily by the time I had ran the rest of the way home and was dehydrated more than I had ever known.

" Hey, Mia, You look like your about to pass out" Said Mycroft, rushing over. I felt like I was going to pass out. It wasn't that I was unfit, I was just in deep shock of today's events, I shook my head, ensuring him I was fine.." You need to go get ready."

" For what?" I questioned, getting up, my head still spinning.

" A dinner party, You know the usual ones" He replied. I nodded and strolled upstairs. I browsed through my wardrobe trying to find something, less dressy and comfortable. I decided on a plum mini dress and no make up, I couldn't be bothered to impress.

The door opened, probably Sherlock, then slammed soon after. I couldn't help feeling guilty about going against him and then Felix leaving so suddenly. I walked down stairs slowly, still dizzy. I saw everyone was ready to go and the cab was there. I slumped into the car, my head in my hands.

The ride wasn't too long, but it sure was boring, I was still surprised at how Felix had bolted like that just because I hadn't let him keep the locket. We arrived at the restaurant and before long I found myself stabbing my chicken with my fork, no intention of eating it.

"Please eat something Mia, Your as pale as a ghost" Said Sherlock, clearly concerned. I tried to, but my stomach was already full of guilt, sadness and shock. I felt my head get heavy and my vision go blurry and as my eyes closed into darkness I felt someone keeping me from hitting the cold, stone floor.
