2. Not the best time

Jamie's POV

It was a bright and sunny April morning as I woke up. Wednesday, which meant that I didn't have a class until one pm. Which also meant I have time to change the late night study marks under my eyes and the crazy curls standing up on my head. My bare feet paddled on the cold tile flooring as I walked to the kitchen. I carefully and quietly( I didn't want to wake my roommate) poured myself a cup of coffee, and sat down to read the newspaper.

I obviously made a racket, because in came Collin, in his silky robe and best annoyed face. giving me a glare he grabbed his own mug and filled it with cream and sugar before adding coffee. "Well, good morning sunshine." I smiled as he plunked down on the cheap uncomfortable chair.

"Don't start with me." His normally Elvis styled hair lay flat as he beat his head on the table. He's not a morning person, hell I'm not either, but he's never like this. He had just broken up with his boyfriend Conner a few days ago. Conner decided that he should hide his sexuality from the public, but he was willing to still be Collin's boyfriend, secretly. Friends with benefits. What a jackass.

"Are trying to hurt the table or yourself?" I caught my cup before it spilt all over the place. "If it's the table, let me tell you, the table is a dumb piece of shit. It has done some shady stuff to other people, like stumping on my toe, so just keep up the good work."

"Why is it so hard?" He looked at me with sad, pleading eyes. My heart broke for him. "You try and you try, you stay up all night to please him. U go on your knees and you do anything he wants. Then he turns around and slaps a C in your face."

"Wait-" I was so confused. "What are we talking about?"

"Professor Green's class." He rolled his eyes. "Not what you were thinking." I mouthed a silent oh, then returned to my newspaper. "So, Jam-Jam, how's hunky? When is he coming back?"

I glared at him for using his nickname for Thomas, but a small smile broke out. "Next week."

"What are you guys going to do?" His blue eyes sparkled as his dark brows lifted up and down, hinting on a dirty meaning behind his words. "Or when should I pretend that I actually have plans, so you guys can, how can I put this? Get down with the bang bang ba boom?"

I coughed as I tried to keep my drink in my mouth, safe and sound. "I think that's your worst one, yet." I laughed. Collin had always been weird about actually saying the word sex, so he always came up with an alterative "Next Tuesday." With that Collin went to take a shower. Of course, before he did that he wrote something about my sex life and Tuesday on a sheet of notebook paper and stuck it on the fridge. I was, once again, alone, drinking coffee, and reading a newspaper.

I was getting into the political section when there was a knock at my door.

Sighing, I folded the paper. It was probably my crazy neighbor next door, again. She came over every now and then, uninvited, and would yell at us because we were 'making too much noise' and we were having 'too many parties'. The strange thing is, within the past nine month's we lived here I don't remember partying once. As I opened the door, a smiled spread across my lips.

Standing in front of me was Thomas, certainly not my crazy neighbor. With his dark brown eyes, tousled blonde hair, strong jaw, high cheek bones and perfectly straight nose, he could be a model; and that's just his face. He gave me a huge smile as he caught me as I jumped on him. I wrapped my legs around his waist as I gave him a tight hug. His strong arms squeezed me tight. He smelled like aftershave and mint, mixed with some kind of gross smelling clone that he needed to get rid of. Right now though I didn't really care. He was back.

"What are you doing here?" I pulled my face away from him. He wasn't supposed to be back until next week. He had a job interview in New York, which had a series of interviews as they narrowed down who was going to be it. Then it hit me. Oh, no. He didn't get the job. "Oh, Tommy. I'm sor-"

He cut me off with his laugh. "That's the first conclusion you jump to?" He exclaimed. He tried to look offended, but his acting skills weren't exactly on target. "Did it ever occur to you that they decided to stop wasting their time on stupid, mindless people when they already know exactly whose the great and powerful, handsome, intelligent guy they wanted?" He raised his eyebrows in pure excitement.

"Sweetie, that's great!" I kissed him, then pulled away and gave him a serious look. "The job, not the ego boost."
He just laughed and kissed me back. It was sweet and strong. My heart started to flutter wildly as the kiss deepened. Then we were interrupted.

"Hunky!" Collin said behind me. "You're back! Yay, this is great! This girl over here missed you, like crazy! How was the inter- oh. You didn't get it did you?"

"Am I just some kind of dumb jock to you all?" He, again, tried for a serious look, but his excitement was bursting at the seems. "I got the job!"

"Good for you!" Collin exclaimed. "Well, then I better get going and let you two get to business." Giving me a wink, he raced out the door with his book bag in tow.

"Does he think all we do is have sex?" Tom's dark eyes twinkled as he pulled me closer. I bit my bottom lip. Seeing my give away sign, his face lit up. "You don't have a class until one right?"

I nodded, giving him my best seductive look. He then lifted me up, my legs found their place around his waist as he walked to my room. Our lips crashed together in harmony, rememorizing every curve, every sensitive spot we have that the three weeks apart took away. His finger trailed up my spine leaving a tingle in their wake as my own traveled through his hair, touching his soft, blonde locks. We hit the bed and fell backwards. Our breathing heavy, and our emotions everywhere. My hands ran down the front of his shirt until they found the end, then slowly started to push the fabric up over his hard abs and perfectly shaped chest. Our lips lost each other as the shirt came over his head. He slowly started to kiss down my neck, stopping at the collarbone to plant some more kisses across my chest.

"I'm b-b-b-b-bad, b-b-b-b-bad, bad to the bone..."

"Someone. Is. Calling. You." Thomas said between kisses. I groaned, for two different reasons and ignored the ringing. Whoever it is, can wait. Thomas came back up and kissed me roughly as he fingers knotted themselves in my hair. I pushed him the side and climbed on top, my knees straddling his hips. Soon, my top was off, too, leaving me in my bra and panties and him in his jeans.

"I'm b-b-b-bad, b-b-b-b-bad, bad to the bone..."

It continued ringing. Sighing, I lead over and picked up the phone. Pressing my fingers over Tom's mouth to keep him from protesting. Seeing who it was from, I was surprised. We haven't really talked much lately, and it seemed like the worst possible time for her to call, but I answered.

"Hey El. This isn't really the best time." Thomas snorted.

"There won't be a good time. I have some bad news." She sighed. Her voice was sad and alarming. I instantly snapped out of my lusting emotions and became worried. Thomas did to as he looked at me. "I think you better sit down for this, Jamie."
