9. Turns out, I was

Turns out, I was...

Scarlett's POV.

I woke up with a new attitude. Last night was a disaster and I had been a wreck. It wouldn't be happening again. Not over Harry Styles anyway.

I walked into the bathroom with a smile on my face and a positive attitude. After I had blasted my music whilst having a shower and brushing my teeth, I walked out into my bedroom to go looking for some clothes.

Then I had a thought...

I walked down the stairs slowly making sure my towel was firmly in place as I entered the front room. Sure enough, everyone was sat down around the room all in deep conversation. That is, until I walked in.

"Morning!" I smiled brightly as I sauntered my way past everyone, lingering around Harry.

"SCARLETT!" my mother gaped at me whilst Harry and Jason tried to look away.

"What? Most of you have seen me naked." I put my hands up in innocence.

I sat down in the seat next to Harry and smiled brightly at him, "Morning, Harry. Get a good night sleep after out talk last night?"

He just looked at me uncomfortably as I smirked.

"Yeah...I slept good, thanks." he bobbed his head in response, his eyes lingering on my chest.

"HARRY!" Amber squawked from across the room.

His eyes shot straight to her at the sound of her anger.

"Well...I see I better get dressed. My mistake." I fake frowned as I went to get up, sticking my rear in Harry's direction as I sent him a wink over my shoulder.

As I walked up the stairs back to my bedroom, I hear Amber begin shouting and growling loudly.

I smirked to myself, maybe this wouldn't be so hard after all?

"You did WHAT?" Madison gasped.

I shrugged, "Walked around in my towel."

We were sat on Madison's bed, sat Chinese style while I spilled the gossip from this morning. I refused to tell her about last night though. I wasn't really sure that was a fun gossip topic. I was lucky to be here though, after my little scene this morning, my mom had practically threatened to tie me to my bed whilst Harry and Amber were here. Good luck with that...

She grinned, "Why might I ask you did that?

I shuffled on her bed for a minute as I thought about my response.

I paused for a minute, "They don't belong together. I'm not going to let that wedding happen."

Madison arched an eyebrow at me, "And how do you plan that to do that?"

I bit my lip. I hadn't actually thought this all through...I just figured spark off a few arguments, whisper a few words in Amber and Harry's ears, cause some scandals and that would do it. But I guess not.

I sighed, "I have no idea."

She smirked, "Thought so..."

She crinkled her brow in thought as she rubbed her chin in thought.

"Hey, why not make him jealous?" she wiggled her eyebrows.

I laughed "With what?"

"Stuart?" she wrinkled her nose in disgust.

I gave her a stern look "Too obvious."

We sat there for hours going over guy over guy trying to come up with a option. We weren't getting anywhere though. They were either unavailable, too obvious, friends with Harry or just...not going to happen.

"Scarlleetttt......" Madison sang.

I looked at her quizzedly, "Whattt?"

She started fumbling with the bangles as she looked at me nervously, "What about Riley?"

I stared at her for a moment. And then I just started laughing hysterically.

"It's not a joke. He's perfect, Scarlett." she frowned.

I stopped laughing and looked at her, she wasn't kidding.

When she saw she had my attention she began speaking again, "1. He's obsessed with you so of course he'll do it. 2. Harry hates him. 3.We all know he's capable of playing the part, and 4. He's hot whether you wanna deny it or not."

I groaned, Madison was right.- As usual.

"But he's a JERK!" I exclaimed.

She shrugged, "It won't be for that long."

I led down on Madison's bed and just stared at the ceiling. Did I truly want to stop that wedding? Because Riley would almost certainly play a big part in stopping it. Was I so fixed on it, that I would stoop that low?

Was I?

I looked at Madison and sucked in a deep breath, "Pass me my phone. I need to make a call."

It turns out, I was.
