Many thanks to Rish Bish ;)

17. Empty.

Bonnie's POV.

I'm in the car with Michael, on the way to my 'surprise', I'm only in the car with Michael because I need to 'evaluate'  or some shit like that. Luke is in his car with Scottie and Louisa, Ron and Rebecca are in Ron's car, and Jason is on his own. Everyone insisted on him getting into their car, but he wanted to be alone. I know why. Its because of the whole Ellie thing, he really liked her and she broke him. I get that. Obviously he didn't tell me this, I just know, Ellie broke me too.

Michael was being so nice to me since the Ellie thing, he was the only one who was there for me when she done what she done. Not even Luke was there for me, and I've been doubting Luke since its happened. I'm scared that I'll get too attached and he'll turn his back on me. He hasn't noticed it, but its not like how it was before, I don't feel those sparks when he kisses me anymore, I don't look at him the same anymore, his smile doesn't make my heart skip a beat, he doesn't put a smile on my face anymore when he walks into the room. I'm surprised that he doesn't notice it. But deep down he knows it. Our love is just... Empty.

Michael's POV.

I looked over to Bonnie to see if she was even paying attention. She wasn't. "Bonnie, you're not even listening to me!" I whined. She didn't reply, she looked like she was deep into thought, something she doesn't do often. "Bonnie?" She still didn't reply. She looked tensed, and her eyes were dull, her knuckles were white from tensing too much, and she hardly blinked at all. "Earth to Bonnie!" I waved a hand in front of her face and she turned to me. "Hi." She finally replied. "Are you okay Bonnie? You look... Different." She had a look of sadness in her eyes, like she'd lost something. "I'm.. I'm fine Michael, why did you ask?" She gave me her fake smile, she thinks I can't tell her fake smile from her real one. I can though. "Tell me the truth Bonnie. I know when you're lying to me." I knew she was about to break down any second now. She bit down onto her lip and looked out the window. I saw a tear roll down her cheek, and I shut up the rest of the journey.
