I bolt out of the hospital, but before I can take any action, I have to halt and absorb my surroundings. I thought being inside the hospital was weird, but what the heck?
Apart from the azure blue sky and little patches of fake grass, everything in…wherever I was, was white. The buildings, the citizen’s attire, the cars, the roads, the gardens, everything. Yeah, now that I think about it, it was the same in the hospital too, but that’s supposed to be like, a doctor thing, right?
And something else: (at first glance one may not notice this, but when you’re in a place that you have no familiarity with and also happens to look extra-terrestrial, you see this stuff.) Everything appeared as if it were timed to a beat. Everyone stepped in unison on the sidewalk, they all had the same exact hairstyles and clothing, cars stopped together and drove together and went the same speed as the ones behind them.
     It wasn’t right.
Recalling my duty, I went around and asked some pedestrians if they knew anything about the Mullin family, but they acted as if I didn’t exist and kept on doing what they were doing, until this one lady gave me a quick look of annoyance and disapproval that I could barely detect because it left as soon as it came. Well, at least I know they see me. But why won’t they do anything? I had a huge headache. What’s happening to me?
I tried getting help a little bit more, but no cloaked-in-white idiot would stop and give me the helping. I almost fell backwards on a fake grass lawn, giving up, when out the corner of my eye I saw God’s blessing.
     AKA, a payphone.
