The Influence Escape. (1D On Temperary Hold)

An ordinary innocent teenager, with a dream. A dream that'll never come true. College, family and her father's perception of her future are the only things on her mind. But one person could change all this. Aggression. Hatred. Adventures. Change. Love...and an influenced escape.

4. What?

When I got in I quietly attempted to sneak straight up the stairs so my mum wouldn't notice...and what a great plan that turned out to be...NOT!

"Madison!" She called with an unimpressed voice. I shut my eyes in disappointment at my failed attempt.

"Yes mum..." I said innocently.

"Go." She replied and then there was silence as I tried one more time to sneak up the stairs.

"NOW!" She shouted and I let out an unimpressed groan.

"Ok, ok I'm going." I grumbled as I headed back down the couple steps and out the front door. As soon as the door was shut behind me I contemplated going somewhere else but then I thought again. That would be a bad idea. My mum and Mr Tomlinson have been talking so much since dad died. She'd find out.

I stood at the end of the path leading to Mr Tomlinson's house staring at the darkly coloured bricks. Here goes nothing. As I approach his door I raise my hand to knock but it opens before I get to.

"Madison, nice to see you. Even if you could have arrived a little earlier." Mr Tomlinson annoyingly greets me as I step into his dimly lit house.

"Shoe's off please." He orders and I do as he says. His house is fairly normal, which is a shock. I don't know what I was expecting before I came in but it definitely wasn't this.

"Nice house." I simply state thinking that if I begin to make conversation he'll lose track of time and forget the work.

"No time for chit-chat you have some learning to do." Dam. I mentally curse myself as I follow him into the living room where I see a wooden table with papers, pencils and pens placed on the top.

"Right, today I'm giving you a small test to see how much you know and what we need to focus on." Mr Tomlinson begins to talk as I sit at the table.

"You have as long as you need to complete it, when you've finished come and get me, I will be outside marking students work in this lovely weather." The boring teacher rambles on as he picks up a few things and leaves the room. When he's gone I look aimlessly at the plain wall for a few moments until I finally pick up the pen and begin the test.

Question one, what is a covalent bond? I groan at the boring question not having a slightest bit of enthusiasm in my body.

An hour later and I've completed the test. I close the test paper and place the pen on the table. I then get up from the chair, pick up the paper and walk towards the door that Mr Tomlinson exited through earlier. Hang on. If I take this to him now, he's going to give me more work to do. I quickly turn on my heels placing the paper back onto the table and decide to go for a nosey wander around his house. As I begin to walk up the creaking stairs I hear music. It’s a guitar and someone singing along to it. I quieten my footsteps but continue up the stairs. I had no idea that anyone else was here. As I get closer to the room that the music is emerging from it gets louder and is actually really good. I slowly and silently push open the door a little to see a guy playing and singing. Crap. Is all I think to myself when I realize who it is. The guy from the street. That, that Tommo guy! I should have known he lived here. I quickly take a step back in shock and as I move a floorboard creeks under me. I stand perfectly still hoping he didn't see or hear me. Everything is silent. The only thing I hear is my heart pounding at my chest...and then footsteps. My breathing gets heavier and faster as the footsteps get closer. Then there's silence again and relief swoops over my body as my muscles relax.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!" A male voice shouts and suddenly I find myself pushed up against the cold wall of the landing. My heart is now jumping from my chest at full speed and my nerves are sky high as I don't answer. He is stood only millimetres away from me with a stern face and dark eyes piercing mine. I feel his breath against my skin and the pressure of his arms pushing me against the wall. The intimidating guy then chuckles, taking his hands off me, his body instantly relaxing as he walks back into the room he was in before. I'm then left standing confused and startled, my heart beating fast and unsteady...

"You know, you shouldn't sneak up on people." The guy says from the room as I continue to stand there in confusion. What just happened?

A/N- Hello everyone! Anyway, let me know what you think so far, I really really would like to hear your feedback! Love you all xxx
