Emily’s P.O.V

*beep* *beep* *beep* I groan as I hit the snooze button on my alarm clock and turn back over in hope of getting some more sleep. I only went to sleep at around 1am last night, or should I say this morning after talking to Harry for hours on face time and I was now extremely tired. As I began to drift off again my eyes opened widely as I remembered that I was going to be meeting Sophie at costa before college, with that I rolled out of bed and took a quick shower. When I was finally ready I grabbed my car keys, said good bye to my mum and little sister and began my drive to the café. Sophie was already there when I arrived and had already ordered me a hot chocolate, with extra whipped cream, just how I liked it and I thanked her before taking a sip of it. “Well yesterday was surprising.” Sophie states, looking up from her cup of coffee. I gave her a confused look and she continued, “Jordan showing up and all.” My mouth forms an ‘O’ shape as I remember back to yesterday when the familiar dirty blonde haired boy walked through the classroom. “I thought you told me he got a football scholarship so he wouldn’t be at college? That’s the only reason I didn’t change over colleges for my last year.” I tell her. “He was offered one, he must’ve turned it down though.” She suggests and I interrupt her. “Why though? He had everything going for him, football was his whole life.” I roll my eyes at the last part, he really was obsessed with it, ever since he was a little boy. “I don’t know,” She begins, “Look, don’t let him get to you it’s only a year and then you won’t ever see him again.” She says but I roll my eyes. “That’s what you said last time.” I look away from her and focus on my hot chocolate, watching as the small bubbles popped on the surface of the drink. “He’s not worth your time Em, you learnt that a long time ago.” She sighs, reaching for my hand in reassurance. I look up at her and give her a small smile but inside my mind I was replaying what had happened only 2 years back and honestly it was breaking my heart all over again. ********* “I’m coming to college in your car more often.” Sophie laughs as I continue to drive down the familiar roads to college. “I’ll begin charging you then.” I joke, turning into the college gates where groups of teenagers were stood in groups, talking to one another. I had to beep my horn at a few of them to move them out of the way so I could park up. “We’re here!” I tell Sophie and she groans but climbs out of the car at the same time I did. I remember to lock it as we made our way into the building knowing that some idiot would try and rob the thing if I left it open. As we walked through the halls we met a few friends and began talking but the conversation was soon interrupted by me being shoved into a locker by a group of boys around my age. Everything goes silent as I fall on to the floor, one of the boys falling on top of me who I soon shove off of me. When I finally regain my balance with the help of Sophie I turn to the boy but just as I begin to yell at him for how stupid he just was every sentence I had formed in my head to say to the idiot disappeared and instead I found myself staring at him, both of us speechless. “I think we should go.” Sophie says quietly, grabbing a hold of my hand to drag me away from the scene which had been watched by over 30 people, the blue eyed boy is still stood speechless and his usually loud friends stood are in shock behind him. Sophie takes me to our next class which was currently empty and sits me down in my seat. Everything is silent for a few moments before I burst out crying, past events flying through my mind and soon I find myself bawling my eyes out into my best friends shoulder as she tries to comfort me.
